This is my 2nd Phantom 2. The 1st was left on a cart, hasta la bye bye. The 2nd one I have my contact info on it. The important part is it gives accurate yardage to the front, middle & back of the green. I've never played a course where it didn't work & work well (including my original smaller Phantom.) For a mid handicapper, it is important to know the distance. A big green can be 2-3 club difference from front to back. The newer Phantom 2 is a bit larger & even in the sun has a much improved easy to read face. A friend clips his to his belt. I use the magnet on the cart post. It's a much stronger magnet than the original. Never a worry about it dropping off. It advances automatically to the next hole & its easy to go back or forward if starting mid course. At the push of a button you can get hazard or layup distances. Overall it is GREAT. I highly Recommend it. ... show more

Wonderful piece of technology. Very glad I made this purchase. So quick and easy to use on the course. Distances seem accurate. The graphics available using the free app loaded on my cell phone are very clear, concise, and colorful. Every golfer should have one of these.

I wanted a device that would simply give me the distance to the center of the green, the front of the green, and the back of the green, and this Bushnell GPS device is very accurate. The magnet is strong and I have no worry that it will dislodge from the cart riser. It does take several minutes to pair with a satellite, but one paired, it gives a choice of several golf courses in the area. It is easy to select the correct course and get started, and simple to advance to the correct hole if starting off the back or skipping a hole. I wish it would work while charging; I was very disappointed to learn that it does not. I do not use other features of the device due to the cumbersome procedures. If you want a simple, easy to read device for distance to areas of the green, this is definitely recommended. ... show more

Been thinking about getting a golf GPS for quite some time. Glad I chose this one. For the price it's great. It has worked great at every course I've played so far - haven't had to touch it at all. Navigating through the menus isn't the most user-intuitive, but it's easy to read in the brightest of daylight, has a strong magnet to hang on to the cart, and seems to be very accurate. ... show more

It's just what i needed. I'm not good at figuring my yardage. This is small enough to fit in my pocket and it gives my yardage accurately enough for my use. It's probably not as precise as those high end ones but it's perfect for me.
