Fit a very small nook perfectly... is very tall and made sure it was attached to wall since it is used for grandkids books... daily easy to put together... only came with 3 shelves and the middle one is not adjustable. We recently did a remodel on our master bedroom closet and decided to make one wall solid drawers, shelves and cubby holes. It was a bit of a jigsaw puzzle. After adding 18 drawers and other shelf units we had an 18 inch wide gap to fill. Thanks to this unit and Amazon it fit like magic!

I revamped my daughter's horrendous closet and put one of these right in the middle. It has stood up for the last 3 years, and I ordered 2 more to give my own closet a makeover. This bookcase is super easy to assemble, which is really important. I'm a single mom, so if I can't do it then it won't get done! I love this bookcase so much that I keep ordering it!

I purchased two of these bookcases because they looked sturdy on the website and the reviews were pretty decent. I can't say enough how disappointed I am in the quality of these bookcases. The first order that I received had one of the bookcases completely broken in half. I contacted the company and they were nice enough to provide me a replacement order free of charge. The customer service was great but they do have issues with the processing itself. I had to call them back because the replacements were not shipped for weeks. It turns out they entered the date wrong. The replacements were set to ship a year out. After resolving this, I received the replacement set. The first package had a chip in the outside paneling and the second package was again broken in half. Safe to say, I'm not going to go through this entire process again. Avoid the headaches. Don't buy this bookcase.

I was building built in bookcases to cover air vents/pipes in my dining room. I had VERY small spacing to work with. I searched EVERYWHERE for shelves to fit the area and couldn’t find anything. I came across these and they were the exact width and height I needed. I was nervous about purchasing them because quality was a major concern, however I decided to take the chance. I ordered two. They were easily assembled and we replaced the cheap, cardboard back with thicker, sturdier wood. We covered the majority of the shelves so that the pressed board look wasn’t visible. We are VERY happy with these for our project. We did reinforce every inch of this shelf, as I said, because it’s being used as a built in shelf. People who have seen them are shocked at how amazing they look in our room. I do have to say that for what they are, they are extremely expensive. Half the price would be reasonable. One of the long boards for the side of a shelf came severely damaged but we were covering it anyway so it wasn’t a big deal. They aren’t extremely sturdy on their own. I’d highly suggest making sure they are anchored to your wall for extra support, especially if you have little ones or pets. Plus, the odd number of shelves it comes with (3) is so awkward that my OCD made me buy additional material from Home Depot to cut additional shelves for them. (By the way, according to the questions asked, if you want more shelves, you will be told you have to buy complete, additional shelving units) Overall, I’d recommend purchasing if you need something small for your space. If not, keep looking. AND REINFORCE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!

Came with minor dents and a significant crack. Plus there are only 3 moveable shelves and one unmoveable, so you can't get the evenly spaced shelving shown in the photo, you get one section that is extra long and uselessly wasteful of space. The screw included in the bracket to pin the shelf to the wall for stability is ridiculously short (would not penetrate sheetrock to stud). Avoid this product unless you plan to dyi some fixes.

Arrived broken - the two large pieces were both cracked. I’m disgusted and this will be a huge hassle to return. I have not heard back from the company yet.

Shelf parts had a few minor chips and dings even though shipping carton was not damaged. We are willing to live with the few cosmetic issues, rather than repack and return, since it is as going in the garage. Please be aware that the backing is folded in half. At first, we thought they had sent the wrong piece, but then realized it was just doubled together for compact shipping. The shelving goes together easily and is sturdy with the option to anchor into the wall.
