These seem to be very well made, but unfortunately I have to return and order men's because they are too small for me. For reference, my hand is 7.5 inches from the tip of my middle finger to the heel of my palm.

    • No more cold hands while skiing!

My wife always has cold hands. Like... always. We recently went skiing with a friend who was wearing mittens and couldn’t stopped raving about them and particularly how warm they kept her hands. I ordered a pair for my wife straight away. She is definitely much happier with this setup. The liners are comfy and she likes the double layer feeling. She also has a tendency to drop her gloves so having the elastic wrist bands that allow you to take off the mitten and use just the liner for a quick phone call or to dig through your pockets is very handy (get it?). There is a little pocket on the outside of each mitten that can be used for your ski pass or an ID or card. But on the really cold days when her hands are still chilly, we tuck a small hand warmer in there and she is good to go for the whole day. I will say that she doesn’t love the fact that her hands move around a bit funky inside the mitten. It’s weird having your fingers move as a group when you’ve been wearing gloves for so long but after a few days on the mountain she was totally adjusted.     • So much warmer than gloves

I will never go back to gloves. Never have I been able to feel my hands while skiing. I was worried about functionality, but it’s doable. These gloves are pretty soft and flexible/not too bulky while still being very warm, so it’s not too hard to grip poles. The wrist straps are great, and the tightening strap is also great/tightenable even with the opposite already-mittened hand. I like that the cuffs are big enough to fit over the end of my coat sleeves. I don’t find the hand warmer pockets too helpful - they’d work better on the palm side or at the fingers, but I think they’d interfere with grip there. Perfect gloves for snowboarding! I am so happy I finally ordered these and stopped messing around with my old gloves that got wet and I had a hard time getting them back on. The inserts are perfect, they keep your hands dry and warm when you are adjusting your bindings and then you throw the mittens on and you're good to go. I have worn these while boarding through a blizzard and my hands stayed so warm. They also have a little clip so you can take them off and clip them onto your jacket if you're riding a spring day.     • A good, basic glove
These gloves are pretty basic and get the job done. I wish that I had gotten them a size down, however. For clothes, I run between a female XS/S, but decided to order these in the small. I wish I had gotten them in the XS because there's a lot of excess material at the end and I feel like it makes it harder to control what I'm doing while the glove is on my hand. PROS: + It gets the job done, it keeps your hands warm and protected CONS: + I used the hand warmer pocket and didn't feel much of an increase in warmth + It's kind of hard to put the glove over a snowboard jacket or in the jacket. When I was lazy, I had a lot of exposed skin while snowboarding + I wish there was a wrist guard, no biggie though Overall, because it gets the job done, I give it 4 stars. The cons that I listed are easy to live with IMO. ... show more
