  • Quality jacket at a reasonable price
Color: Bog Heather New Size: Small
Jacket is warm, comfortable, and made of high quality material. I'm normally a medium, but I purchased a small (as the last Burton jacket I purchased was a little big)... It's a tad snug but works just fine.

  • Nice Stylish Jacket
Color: Bog Heather New Size: Large
This Burton line had a lot of material/color options and I am very pleased with my Bog Heather choice. While the pictures look good, I was worried that the coloring or material might look cheap, but the jacket looks very nice and can really function to ski in or hit restaurants and bars in, whereas some jackets look like they should just stay on the slopes. As for sizing, I am 6'2", more of a V-shaped body, 40-42" chest, weigh about 175, wear 35-36" shirt sleeves, and wear 34x34 pants/jeans. I often thought Burton jackets ran large in size, but as for this jacket, the large fits absolutely perfectly and is probably the best fitting of any ski jacket I have bought with not being too long/short and not being too baggy with just a shirt or not too tight with a vest or other light jacket/sweater underneath. For my size, the large fits just a little less baggy and a little less long then what is seen on the guy featured in the product pictures. But just a bit. And, of last note on fit, there is no bottom-up or dual zipper feature, meaning you can't zip open the coat from the bottom while the majority of the zipper is up. On a few snowboarding style coats, I really found this feature nice because these coats can run longer and this feature can give you a bit more flexible/airy feel by opening the zipper at bottom a few inches. However, on this coat, for my height and for the fit, it doesn't matter at all, as this feature would be useless since the fit is perfect. As for quality, visually, everything looks great. As for durability, haven't tested it out, but I have had several other Burton products and I think are great. I wouldn't have minded one more inside pocket, but there are plenty of outside pockets, both velcro and zipper. The media pocket is a velcro closure, whereas I wouldn't have minded zipper. But, it seems pretty secure as it also sits under the proximity of the velcro of the main front flap. Also, of note, I could have sworn I read somewhere that the two lower pocket flaps were just decorative atop the side zipped pockets. But, on this jacket model, they are real pockets (velcro closure) in addition to the zipped sides. Overall, I am as happy as can be with my purchase, and if I see a sale, I might grab another jacket in another color. ... show more

  • Excellent Jacket!
Color: True Black New Size: XX-Large
Perfect fit, many pockets and not too heavy. Comfortable and the easy reach deep pocket keeps my phone safe and accessible!

  • Superb Jacket for any winter activity.
Color: Denim New Size: Large
Love it...sooo super functional. Pockets for days and all in the right places. The phone pocket side left breast is accessible at ANY point for a quick shot on the lift or right before you hop over the edge; and it’s very secure and stays dry. Vents keep things breathing when your working the moguls or leaning into those edges. Outer material keeps you dry and is extremely durable for those times you hang it out too far and decide to eat it hard. This jacket + Bib (burton - see my bib review also amazing) + merino base...you are done. East coast or west ranges, warm or ice cold, this Jacket is warm and breezy. In hindsight I would have bought something with a bit of color. The grey is a bit drab. ... show more

  • Fantastic coat
Color: True Black New Size: X-Small
This coat is good looking, love the style. It was warm and waterproof. Work snowboarding. It was a little stiff to wear when not snowboarding. Worth the money.

  • Wow what a great jacket! The pockets are fantastic
Wow what a great jacket! The pockets are fantastic, they have obviously done their research on pocket science...is that a thing? There are large pockets, small pockets, I had so much pocket space that I didn't even bring my backpack!. This jacket kept me so warm, all i wore underneath was a longsleeve t-shirt. Grant it, I snowboard in central California at Dodge Ridge, so, not as cold as I imagine other locales would be. Having said that, I would take my chances with this jacket anywhere. Also, the jacket keeps snow out from under it because of a gaiter(?). I thought it might detract from the jacket's comfort but it did not. Also, theres pockets and zippers inside the jacket. One of my favorite was the little plastic window where you can store your I.D. and credit card or whatever. There's plenty of space in other pockets for a wallet but I really like only carrying my important cards. ... show more

  • Super warm, fits great, looks dank
Color: Bog Heather 1 Size: Large
Excellent jacket. Got this without trying on a Burton jacket ever and I loved it. I'm 6'0 and a large fit just as it should (a little baggy, but still warm). Speaking of, all I wore under this was a long sleeved shirt in 10 degree weather and it was perfect.

  • Water Resistant, Not Waterproof
Color: Bog Heather New Size: Small
Just got back from a session at the mountain, it was snowing pretty hard, I had on Under Armor base layers and the Burton Jacket, Gloves, and Pants on. It was around 30 degrees outside, and the snow melted quite quickly, the fabric definitely showed that it was getting soaked, the inner lining never broke though so all I had was the wet water feeling. Overall this is a good product, its not designed for heavy rain or any sort but light snow and powder days they work pretty well, I got mine tailored because im 5'2". The "living lining" works i think and with the base layers I had on I stayed pretty warm. I would def buy again if I happen to break them but just be aware on heavy snow/rain you will be soaked. Great Product! ... show more
