They have this proficiency meter on this small window. Basically, if the toothbrush works continuously throughout the cleaning, it will measure, "Perfect!" It has nothing to do with how well it is cleaning your teeth. It's just a "come-on." I use a water pik before brushing, too!

I just received my Pro a few days ago and opened the box yesterday. I was having trouble opening in the charging port and did not want to scratch it or break it since it was not opening with any ease. Searched to contact company to confirm a safe process to open the rubber flap and only found an option to text them, so I did. This is the response you'll get: "Your BURST questions answered! Hello, Thanks for reaching out! We are experiencing high volumes at this time and appreciate your patience. Please expect to hear from us within 7-9 business days. While we work to get back to you, here are a few articles that might be helpful: (and the articles aren't helpful). So tough cookies if you have a broken toothbrush or any other issue. Not exceptable!!! As far as the actual toothbrush I've only used it once, too soon to know how this will work out. Cross your fingers because I do think you'll be stuck after 30 days!! ... show more

    • Cleans Better Than Previous Electric Toothbrush Although It is a Little Messy

This brush is a little messy when using but works really well. I feel my teeth are whiter and cleaner. However disappointed that I can not purchase the replacement brush head in the appropriate color from Amazon. Also they are fairly expensive.

This might be a gimmick as I've used it for 30+ days and my teeth are not cleaner than brushing+floss. I'd like to see some hard data on sonic cleaning in tooth brush form. Of course I know that sonic cleaning can work, I'm just not sure if waiving the cleaner around with your hand produces measurable cleaning. If you take a random orbit sander and fix it to a stationary surface, whatever you push against the sander will vibrate a lot. However, if you take that same sander and hang it from a string, nothing you push against it will really vibrate. It's somewhere in that difference that I think this product is a gimmick. ... show more
