We have kept both our original Wii, and our Wii U in good working order. However, getting controllers is becoming a challenge. OEM controllers I could not find. Used ones I could, but those would be a gamble on how well they work. I read many reviews and decided upon these. I was expecting some disconnections (but did not observe any). I never tried the num-chuks, so I cannot comment on how well they work. I used rechargeable ever-ready batteries and they worked just great, like in my OEM controllers.     • Hit and miss, but they work
Was excited to get these Wii remotes and nunchucks, I ordered them yesterday and they were here this afternoon, and I live in a rural area. Remotes and accessories are an excellent build quality, very sturdy and hard to tell the difference between these remotes and the official Nintendo ones. Now for the downside, it took about 5 attempts to sync the remotes to my Wii, and I'm pretty good tech wise. The official Nintendo remotes can be used at least all the way across my living room, the new ones I was maybe only 5 feet away and the icon disappeared and so didn't work. But as long as you are close to your TV, the remotes do work, as do the nunchucks. I used the nunchucks with my old Wii remote and it works fine. Connected the Wii controller to the new remote and that too works just fine. Basically they work but it's a pain to sync and the short distance needed for them to register on the sensor bar is annoying. ... show more

I had gotten this to play Wii sports resort, since they need motion controls for this, and this works perfectly fine with it. However, I found myself needing to calibrate my wii remote more than I'm used to, but that could be something else. Anyways, great product.

    • seem to work once they're paired
Hard to pair, but once I got past that they work and my batteries don't go flat right away. Pairing requires clicking the buttons in the battery compartment and the buttons on top of the Wii, but I'm still not sure how to do it right. I just tried in a few combinations and eventually it worked. Once that was done these were reliable. I saw bad reviews for a different controller saying the batteries didn't last. On these controllers the battery seems to last just fine, so I'm glad I bought these ones and not those other ones. ... show more

    • Work just fine.
I read all the views and a lot of people didn't like them and said they didn't work but for me and my fiance they work perfectly and we have wii play, Wii resort, Guitar Hero and a couple other games and they all work perfectly with these remotes I guess we got a lucky batch. Definitely recommend.
