For the price.. $210ish with shipping added on, I feel like it could be a heavier metal. Light comes in handy for shipping, delivery and construction but not very a safe sleep space for kids, especially being designed to climb on. My girls are in the 65-80lb range and the bed quivered when they tried it out. We had to mount a few spots of the frame to the wall to make it work safely. Overall the bed does the job. It’s not super sturdy. My four year old loves it and does fine with it. Some of the top bars are bent already and I can’t fix the sheeting at the top without a whole lot of wiggling of the bed. The ladder hurts your feet.

We got the bunk bed as a temporary fix for a small bedroom. It is flimsy, but we are banking on the temporary fix. The ladder has round step rods, which are slippery and bother as the child is climbing up.

Instructions sucked and the holes aren't all the way drilled. My husband is handy and make it work, but I'm not thrilled with my 75lb boy on top and my 40lb daughter on the bottom knowing my husband "got it to work" it should've been working and not needing a little "help"
