When you have 3 boys in the same room, you have to get pretty creative with the limited space. This loft bed was the perfect solution to several issues in our household. -The package arrived completely intact and sealed with tape. -No part on this product was bent or broken. -The instructions were easy to follow. -The final product is very sturdy. -My son absolutely loves his little gaming space as he’s no longer sitting in his bed playing games, hunched over. -Very high value for the money, even when you consider the price of shipping. The only modification I’m considering is placing a measured/trimmed piece of 1/4 to 3/8 in lauan between the mattress and the bed rails for slightly better weight distribution, but I’m in no hurry to do this.

Nothing about this bed is pre-assembled. It took FOREVER to put together. The drawers are made of cloth, and likely will wear out quickly. However, those spots can easily be turned into additional shelving. They rock quite a bit, and you should definitely use the anti-tip mounts that come with them. You should also know that the ends are not interchangeable.

So I purchased this loft bed for my 10yr young son. Once the package arrived, the next morning I start to pull everything out of the box to start assembling the loft bed together. I do an inventory check and everything is there. I start my assembly and got to step 2 in the instructions manual to be halted due to the cross bars being longer then the frames (See pictures). So because I barely got to step 2 in the instructions manual I then compare all measurements to the measurements they show in the product image (photo attached). To finding out that none of the framing matches the inches they should be. Now I do give the seller credit for responding quickly and resolving the matter. They fully refunded me the total cost of everything. I hope if you decide to order this loft bed, that it comes correctly. My son was super excited for his new loft bed only to have that excitement ripped away cause the manufacturer screwed up on the measurements when assembling the frame pieces.

Building it was hell, not gonna lie. Even with two people it took two separate nights to finish at 3.5 hrs a piece. The glaring issue with the way the power strip is set up limits the full use of the under desk drawer unless you flip the power strip front to back and not back to front, while ALSO tilting the drawer. It's extremely cumbersome. Otherwise, the kid loves it. It IS sturdy but we braced it into the wall because, for a 13 year old, it is shakes a bit when climbing into it. The ladder is also a bit thin, but that's a minor issue. The lights were an awesome touch and the app is easy to use.

Instructions were easy to follow but it has a ton of parts. Follow directions otherwise may have to redo one thing the rails you screw in would do but keep others to end because you have to go under then you hit your head as you try to screw rest of parts in. Sturdy. Takes a few hours to put together unless your insanely fast at putting things together average speed and a few breaks 4 hours but worth the time. Did I mention a lot of parts.

I got it together and don't have 3 drawers. There's no remote for the lights or the peg board accessories it has listed in the picture. It is extremely wobbly even mounted to the wall. My 7 year old hates climbing it because it shakes. Also the drawer doesn't open because the cord for the power unit.
