My wife's concern was that the top bunk would not have much headroom. Boy, was she surprised when we put these together - plenty of headroom. We purchased two of them to accommodate the grandkids when they come to visit. They have personalized their bunks with colored lights and canvas paintings on the adjacent walls. I have little ones 3 and 5 and this is perfect! It's light weight, low, and easy to put together. It made having them sleep in their room easy. They were both so excited to sleep in their new bunk bed. If you have little ones and are nervous about height, this one is perfect. I especially like that we were able to put a 12-inch memory foam mattress on the bottom bunk and there was still enough space for her to sit and grow. ... show more

Falling apart with a 30 Lb kid just laying on it. Don’t recommend. All of the bars that hold the mattress up are falling off. It’s the worst bed I’ve ever seen do not buy.
