Easy to cut to size. Easy to install. Even sticks to itself so you can double up if needed. Which we did. This bunk has a rougher painted metal texture and it still sticks to it. If my destructive child wouldn't pick at it, we'd be golden 🤦🏻♀️ That being said, if your kid is younger and bites on stuff, pieces of this can be bitten off since it's more like foam. If that's your problem I'd recommend rubber or silicone bumpers, not this. Cleans up easy with a damp rag, holds up to consistent abuse so far after a little over a week (even with her insistent picking) and serving its purpose effectively.

These were perfect for my son’s bunk bed and have held up adhesive for over 4 months so far! Didn’t peel off steps either. Really easy to install. Very comfortable and soft for his feet when climbing.

So initially these were awesome! They gave padding to unbearable metal, but rather quickly the material started to fall off, at first I couldn’t figure out why I kept seeing this black stuff around my daughters bed… later on, I found an even bigger piece on the floor and I noticed there was a lot moreof missing than what I had found. While it stuck great initially, it did move around when the little one was climbing up the ladder. I don’t think I would purchase this again because the cost didn’t match what I expected the life of the product to be. It was much cheaper getting a pool noodle…. Which hasn’t disintegrated, and won’t for much longer than this lasted. I really did love this the first week, but I am glad I decided to hold off on getting more. It might be perfect for someone who isn’t climbing up the ladder and being a 6 year old… or if it is for something used not too often and won’t start falling off everywhere.

It was very easy to install and worked on 5 steps with a little extra. The only knock i have on it is the adhesive doesn't stick very well and doesn't span the whole width. I had to super glue some of the corners. It is very soft on bare feet and does repel water well
