  • Great camera, is it for a webcam / studio camera
Color: White Style: w/ 16-50mm
First off the body is small and compact for what it is, it's not really a pocket-sized camera but it's much smaller than your average DSLR, I probably use this thing for about 4 hours a day on average, I get high quality video and high quality photos and the quality of the camera itself is just top notch, the sound quality from the built-in microphone is decent enough but I wouldn't use that unless it was the only option, I'm not sure I can say it's a good value for the money cuz darn it a nice looking camera shouldn't have to cost this much but when you look at the price of some other cameras it's definitely a good value for the money, now when it comes the battery life I would say it's average, I wish it were a little better but most of the time I leave it plugged in so what charges the battery as I'm using it, I did the same thing with my last camera for years and it never seemed to kill the battery so hey I'm doing it with this one too so battery life is good if you're doing that, the camera works great and takes excellent video and photos so I would say it functions very well, I'm very happy with it, I would buy another one if I needed a second camera. But I've had this for about a year now and like I said I use it for about 4 hours a day as a webcam, sometimes as a regular camera and fan of it, I usually use it in 4k in my room gets pretty warm, it's off and around 80° in my room and I can remember once or twice it shut off from overheating so it doesn't really seem to have major overheating problems but if you think about it if you run it in 4k for hours and hours and hours and it only overheats occasionally in an 80° room that's not too bad so yeah, great camera ... show more

  • really compact
Color: Black Style: Body Only
I originally used the A7M4, but it felt a bit too big for everyday carry, so I got the ZV-E10 II. This camera is really compact and has a great selection of compatible lenses. I’m currently using the Viltrox 27mm f/1.2 Pro, and it’s fantastic—the image quality is excellent, making it perfect for daily photography. ... show more

  • Nice camera with major overheating flaw...
Color: Black Style: w/ 16-50mm
Really solid vlogging camera with overheating issue. I record videos mostly in my house or car and it will overheat and ask to be shut off after like 5-10 minutes of continuous recording at 4k which is troubling. Also I don’t like that it always does a lens check when powered on and you need to leave the lens cap on for a few seconds. Otherwise, it records good quality video and focus is pretty good too! ... show more

  • Great camera but need a usb-c cable
Color: Black Style: w/ 16-50mm
Lens quality is good. Build quality is great. It's really easy to use. The battery life is good, I haven't noticed any problems with it. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is because I didn't know it doesn't come with a battery charger. I feel like the listing should make that clearer. When it arrived, the included battery was so low that it died during the initial setup moments after I turned it on. I was so bummed that I was going to have to buy a battery charger and wait another day for it to arrive to use the camera. Luckily, I did some research and found out that you can actually use the camera AND charge the battery with a usb-c cable. Thankfully I had one of those laying around. So, if you don't have a usb-c cable already, make sure you buy one when you order this camera so you don't freak out like me and can actually use your camera when it arrives. ... show more

  • So far good!
Color: White Style: Body Only
Well I jumped from a QX1 to this "monster" It has a lot of features like they really listened to customers. When using manual lenses (either alpha with manual zoom, or analogs with adapter) you can zoom the screen to get better idea of the focus. And like that a lot of "mini" tools that are great for the day by day, I wont talk about photo quality or specs, you probably saw 100 videos of that, and specially the 10 bit thing on videos. It feels right. I miss the physical shooter that I had in the QX1, like a real reflex camera feeling. At some point you will say "but its almost like my phone..." But then you will get a decent lens, and you will say "woaaaa" Still relatively new, so I cant get stuff like a metal frame for protection (I'm still looking for one) But batteries are the big sony standard battery used in reflex cameras. So thats an easy one. Battery last like forever. So if you have a second battery, you will be ok for long time. I miss the glass windows to check the picture without looking trough a screen, but screen has a great contrast and I didn't have any issues looking or checking the screen under the direct sun light. So far its a solid camera. One thing that I would love would be that some day the camera could just upload the pictures to a share folder, or ftp, or even a file services like dropbox, etc. For now, or you either sync with the phone (will be fast since is wifi 5ghz) but still phone -> cellphone -> storage in cloud or network, and difficult to track which photo you already copied. What I do is take the SD out put it on a SD reader on my phone and move the pictures to Synology, via the photo app. or share folder via total commander (on vpn or locally). ... show more

  • Compact and attractive, but an expensive problem.
Color: White Style: w/ 16-50mm
Nice looking camera and light in the hand. Compact enough for a minimal EDC. And, yet, it didn't come with a charging cable, the battery was exhausted, and I tried to charge it with my own Sony cable and it wouldn't take a charge. Like others have said: "why sell a problem." I had such high hopes for this little camera to be a quality Sony product to go along with my others, but all I got was an expensive disappointment. ... show more
