    • OK bumper, brackets have to be for another model, possibly a 1500?
Bumper looks nice, but the brackets did not fit my 2500 even though Amazon said it was a perfect fit. Most of these bumpers are getting replaced due to rust issues...this is also the struggle you'll have getting your old brackets off, because the new ones are completely wrong. Other than having to use my brackets and the issues getting them off of the old bumper, the end result was nice. ... show more

Overall finish of the bumper was good. Installation of the bumper was a nightmare as the mounting holes were stamped incorrectly and on one bracket the threads in the nut were either not tapped the entire way or weld splatter entered the weld nut. I was able to mill the holes to fit and reuse the stock bracket on the other side. I was hesitant but bought based on reviews here.....wish i would have got something better. Spend the extra money and get a quality product. ... show more

Had to modify hole for 7 & 4 pin receiver. Just use bracket as a pattern and Dremel tool cut off .

Site claimed a perfect fit for a 2006 Chevy Silverado and it is not. Was able to make it work, but definitely not a perfect match.
