LOVE this product. Does the job well, the 8.5oz bottle lasts a VERY long time, smells great, and is lightweight. 10/10. I’m in my late 40s, fine thin Asian hair, living in humid tropical weather — my hair has a mind of its own. Without this? Dry hay :( But with it? Healthy, shiny & soft! :) My routine: Shampoo/condition > air dry 10-15 mins > spritz a few times all over (focusing on ends) > blow dry with a brush. I also use a hair straightener to style waves and love knowing this acts as a heat protectant primer. That’s it. I work out a few times a week and wash every 2-4 days, so dry shampoo and texture spray are non-negotiables in between. Here’s what got me hooked: my hair used to dry out and feel rough after using powder or texture spray. Not anymore! Days later it STILL looks and feels soft — and that’s entirely this product doing the heavy lifting. I can tell immediately when I skip it. Bottom line: If you have dry or humidity-prone hair and want a product that protects, holds things together, and keeps hair soft and healthy — this is it. 10+ years in and I’m not switching. I have always used a leave in conditioner and tended to buy drugstore products, but I have started to spend a little more on my haircare and found its worth the extra money. This product has so many benefits in addition to its use as a detangler/leave in. It has heat protection, tames frizz, primes the hair for styling, softens, etc. I have fine hair that is easily weighed down by product and this is pretty weightless. It does not make my hair greasy or heavy and leaves a subtly sweet fragrance behind. I only wash my hair 1-2x a week and this helps extend the time between washes. For 8.5oz, it's a little pricey, but it will last a long time even with regular use. If you are looking for a cheaper option that works well, I would suggest Pantene's Miracle Rescue spray. The difference between the Pantene product and this Bumble and Bumble is that I feel like the Pantene did it's job without improving the overall condition of my hair. The bumble and bumble seems to be improving the hydration and condition of my hair with each use, in addition to detangling and protecting it. **4.0 out of 5 stars - Good reliable primer, but is it a "must-have"?** I’ve been using this Bumble and bumble Invisible Oil Primer for a few weeks now, and I’m definitely in the "like it, don't love it" camp. On the positive side, it does exactly what it says on the bottle: it’s incredibly lightweight and truly "invisible." I have hair that tends to get weighed down easily by oils, but this absorbs instantly and leaves my strands feeling soft and much easier to detangle after a shower. The Heat and UV protection is the main reason I bought it, and it gives me a lot of peace of mind when I’m blow-drying or spending time out in the sun. It also has a really pleasant, light scent that feels like a little luxury every morning. My hair definitely looks smoother and less frizzy than when I use nothing at all. However, for the price point, I was expecting a bit more of a "wow" factor. While it’s a solid hydrating base, I don't find that it adds a ton of shine or that "glass hair" finish that some other high-end leave-ins provide. It’s a great workhorse for protecting your hair and making it manageable, but if you're looking for a dramatic transformation in texture or glossiness, this might feel a little subtle.
