Beautiful skeleton watch. Decent weight, wind 30 times before wearing, holds time for around 24 hours while sitting stationary. Stainless steel also gets a great patina in time, this is aging like fine wine. The glass has been very durable so far, with 3-5 days a week usage, over 6 months I have no scratches or chips in the glass. The time holds consistently, maybe falling around 30 seconds behind every 24 hours but most of us with automatic watches know to set the time when we put them on unless you have the rotation cases. The band is not my usual clip to one side band; it clips in the middle with a release toggle that could get hit it you were to bend your hand downward enough, but surprisingly this has not been an issue. Also, on the band, no pulling of my arm hair which is a big problem for men. Band was also easily adjustable with a slide pin set. Great buy, this was my first bulova, and due to the value I will highly recommend and consider another; I am typically a citizen eco drive titanium guy.     • What I expected and then some

This watch caught my eye as I was looking through automatics, and nothing else looked as appealing after I saw it, so I ordered. Beautiful piece. The band has a great shine and construction, the clasp is sturdy like I would expect for a watch in this price range, and the skeleton face is amazing. The crystal has a brilliant transparency to it and looks great at an angle (it's slightly domed so you get a good magnification/dewdrop effect). The mechanics of the watch are mesmerizing to look at and catch other peoples' eyes as well. There is also a decorative inlay just inside the dial that adds a lot of aesthetic. Lots of comments on this one. It runs .5 second/hr fast, but I've come to expect a little of that in automatic watches, and not a big deal for me...pull the crown out once a day, count to 10, push crown back in. The tuning fork logo is the tiniest bit off-center to the top of the dial, but only noticeable to someone scrutinizing the smallest details. Regarding the practicality of the design, it's very busy and everything including hands, markers, inlay and mechanics are chrome/silver/grey, so taking time upon immediate glance may require some getting used to. I found myself being 5-minutes off here and there until I had some experience with the watch. Aside from the few small criticisms I mention, I own a handful of watches and this one is probably my favorite all stainless watch. It's very comfortable to wear and just looks great. A little expensive but I will enjoy this piece for years to come. ... show more

Beware…..Don’t ever buy a Bulova watch!I bought my boyfriend a beautiful Bulova watch for Christmas over a year ago and it stopped working, so we called them to get a different watch. They wouldn’t exchange it. They wanted to fix it. We sent it in and they took 6 months to get it back to us. The watch stopped working again. We asked for a different watch. They refuse to give us a new watch. They worked on it a second time and same thing….watch quits working. So I guess I’m just out 350.00. And we keep a watch that won’t work. Unbelievable. This watch was perfect! I bought it for my boyfriend’s birthday and it’s now his favorite one! It comes with a few extra chain links as normal (so it won’t fit him as soon as he opens it) but that’s to be expected with any watch and it makes a cute ticking sound if you listen closely!
