December Gifts In 1927, Wright designed a series of twelve monthly covers based on seasonal themes for Liberty magazine. When submitted, they were judged to be too avant-garde for the time but would become the basis for later interpretations executed in diverse media. Each design is an example of Wright's practice using the tools of his trade. This design is a detail from the drawing, December Gifts, depicting festive holiday gifts with ribbon and bows abstracted to striking geometric shapes. Water resistant to 30 meters.

I'm a watch enthusiast and a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright. When I saw the photo on line of this watch, I had to have it. When I received it, I discovered that you could not see the hour and minute hands, even in good light. In the photo on line, of course they had the correct lighting and angle.
