- Large bread banneton holds up to 1kg of dough: Craving an extra large loaf of tangy sourdough? Cant wait to make that new Italian focaccia recipe or try your hand at the perfect rye? Our sourdough proofing basket holds up to 1,000g of your favorite dough and ensures its shape holds strong during the final rise. Perfect for crafting pillow-soft bread without worrying about deflation!
- Thick walls keep temperature consistent: No one likes sad, uneven bread that screams my baker didnt cook me right! Luckily for even the newest bread makers, our thick-walled bread rising basket provides all-over insulation, keeping temperatures consistent while you masterfully ferment and proof beautiful artisan bread.
- Create gorgeous, even crusts: Longing to hear the crackle of warm, crusty bread fresh out of the oven? Create airy, golden-crusted loaves with Bulka sourdough basket that evenly absorb moisture for dramatically improved breathability and taste. Once youve proved your loaves with a Bulka bread proofing basket, youll never want to go back!
- Made from eco-friendly wood pulp: From tree to table, our brotforms harness the power and beauty of nature without harming it in the process. Sustainably sourced from local German forests, our spruce wood pulp bannetons are more eco-friendly than rattan products made from rainforest palms. Plus, youll love that our Bulka bread proofing bowls are 100% biodegradable and chemical-free!
- Easy to remove and clean: Difficult cleanup? Not on our watch! With a non-stick texture and larger surface area, wet dough is less likely to get stuck in grooves. No need to spend extra time washing, either. Just dry your bread proofer in a warm, well-ventilated area (or in residual oven heat after baking) and brush off leftover flakes with a stiff brush!

Thumbs up!
Pattern Name: Waffle 1kg
I recently used the Bulka bread banneton to make a sourdough loaf, and I’m beyond impressed with its performance. The quality of the banneton is evident from the start, with a sturdy build and a textured , surface that makes bread-making enjoyable and mess-free. Each loaf turns out beautifully lofty with a well-defined shape, adding an artisan look to my bakes. Cleanup is a breeze, and while I initially wondered about its long-term durability, it has held up wonderfully so far. It’s refreshing to support smaller companies that deliver high-quality craftsmanship—keep up the great work!”

Loaf of bread looks pretty.
Pattern Name: Groove 1kg
Very easy to clean and maintain. I use it to proof sourdough bread and other breads. When I am finished using it I brush out the excess flour and leave it on the counter overnight to dry. Simple and very useful.
