Not good
When I received the item it didn’t work at all. It was shipped locked. When I tried to unlock it put it on my car the lock would not come off .

An extra layer
I have eyeballing getting one of these locks for a long time, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get it. It is not that I am overtly worried about someone stealing my aging sedan, but why should I make it easier to do so? We also have a Hyundai Tucson, but luckily it is not one of those that can be hacked. The brake pedal cannot be moved, so the car can't be started in case of key fob duplication. It is very easily placed and visible enough to deter a casual thief. The ability to adjust the lock's level means that it can be placed in quite a few vehicles as well.
