I really like this buffer. It isn't light, but that is its only drawback. I am using it to grind heavy oxidation off of a 32' RV motorhome with some boat cutting compound. It is hard work and this buffer is up to the job. I do the heavy cutting at 1,000RPM and then step it up to 1800 for polishing. The thing works great. If I start really hogging into a spot it applies more power and keeps the RPM up. I change speeds frequently and the speed control works good. The soft start and trigger lock are great. I received my buffer and it was evident that it was probably used and returned to Amazon. ENGiNDOT made good only concerns right away. I used the buffer this weekend and it did a great job. It's a little heavier than I thought it would be, but since this is my first buffer of this type, that may just be the case for this type of polisher. Only reason not 5 stars was the foam pads outer diameter is same as black backing plate. The backing plate edge can touch inside corners if not careful.
