I had issues with my handlebars being a reach in my older age. This stem allowed me to raise them to a comfortable height. They look nice, hold the adjustments but require you to tighten the screws very tight. Also cables may limit the adjustability. It was a great cost effective improvement.

Not the most expensive option available but it installed easily and it feels solid. I ride about 15-20 miles 5 times per week. Haven’t had any issues. I like it. It gives my bike more comfortable geometry for my tastes.

The Bike I bought had me in an odd position, hunched over too much, and this was the manufacturers suggested solution. Raised the handlebars enough that I didn't get a sore back. Well worth the price. The Stem nuts and handle nuts hold well, but the nut that controls angle of the stem (Single nut) seems to give a bit of wiggle that no amount of tightening seems to want to fix. It's still sturdy but not 100% locked into place.

This seems to be a pretty solid piece. I have flat bars on my bike and as I age, I'm not as comfortable on flat bars as I used to be. My wife is the same and she wanted riser bars. I bought her a set of bars with 90mm of rise and she loves them. I was not ready for the look of riser bars (maybe I'll get some 50mm or 55mm at some point). So, I went with this solution. I thought it would also be quicker to replace the stem because handlebars usually need to be cut down to the proper length and hers were no different. The process for installing this adjustable stem was easy until I rode the bike down my driveway. I realized immediately there was definitely some movement of the steering tube. It turns out that I needed another spacer because the part of the stem that clamps onto the steering tube is just a little shorter than my original stem. So, I had to get a package of spacers and just like that, it is all done. Park Tools have some videos on YT that are very helpful for diy bike repairs and they have one for replacing stems.

I'm 56, and love riding my eBike, but with the stock stem, all my upper body weight was on my hands, and that hurts after a while. This stem adjusted me to a more upright position, relieving a lot of the weight from my hands. I'm more concerned with comfort than I am with aerodynamics, so for me, this was a huge win.

Bought a 26" e bike and even with the seat at its lowest level I was leaning too low and too forward to be comfortable for more than a couple of miles. I messaged the bike seller and he recommended this riser. I ordered it along with some spacers. I removed the stem that came with the bike and installed this in less than 30 minutes with zero issues. Took a short ride and having my handlebars almost 5" higher made all the difference in the world comfort wise. It's seems to be well built, very sturdy, and is lightweight . Though I'm using mine at the max height , you can adjust to any height and angle that you want . For me it was exactly what I needed.
