Purchased this coat for my granddaughter who is 3. She loves the coat and her mother does too. I purchased the coat after a coworker suggested the brand for 5 point harness car seats.     • Saves me the jacket car swap headache
I saw this on an ad on Facebook so I was hesitant to believe that it was worth the cost. I can safely say this is one of the best purchases I got for my son and my sanity. Living in the Midwest, doing the carseat jacket shuffle every time we were in and out of the car sounded like such a drag and a recipe for frustration. Being a first time mom I had no idea how to go about handling winter, jackets and car seats. This item seemed like a logical investment. The instructions on the tag were very clear on how to use it. The back of the jacket is very thin, about as thick as a sweatshirt, so I feel completely safe keeping him in this coat while strapped in to the carseat. Though I will say I don't think its warm or thick enough to be outside in it for a long period of time, he stays very warm just going to house, car, store, etc. I ordered a size up since that is what the company and other reviewers recommended. I didn't want to have to buy another one mid-winter because he outgrew the first one. Overall it fits great! The sleeves run a bit long, but I just roll up the cuffs and that solves the problem. Quality is great. Fabric is soft and nice color. Jacket is a little puffy but kept my daughter warm at least to try on. Sizing was off I did not size up as recommended. My daughter fits the size, but felt it was snug daughter will easily grow out of it. I feel like price of item is high, especially because kids grow out of items so quickly. I wish this was more affordable option, especially when parents are just trying to keep child warm and safe in car seat. I will have to return and find other alternative. Love this coat! Warm, Fits well, Safe, and has saved me so much time! I was in a car accident (my car was totaled), thank God my son was not in the car. After experiencing such an impact it scared me to buckle my son with his coat on, even if it was thin... On cold hectic mornings, I would have to sit in the car until it warmed up then take off his coat and strap him in. This coat has saved me 10 min every morning. The upper velcro on the coat is amazing it leaves room for the car seat straps to sit comfortably under the coat. Thank you! *** I had this coat for over a year now (Yes, it still fits my son I bought it a little big on him, and now we have it for two winter seasons!!!), I can tell you, it was so well worth the investment!! I'm not sure why people are saying it's cheaply made and not nice looking. My son is very warm in it and personally, I've got compliments on his coat. A coat is a coat, it looks like a coat. This is ok but wouldn't buy it next winter. It's servings it's purpose and it does make it easier to buckle the seat belt Sometimes but it's a pain in the butt. Most days I just pull down the arm Velcro and snap the seat belt over it. I never zip it up otherwise it's time consuming. I think his car seat has a tight fit so it makes it more complicated to maneuver. Most of the reviews talk about how big it is. I didn't find that to be true. I went a size down which fit but I could've gotten his size and it would've been fine. Don't need to size up though. Maybe size down if you have a tiny baby. ... show more
