I bought this for our small pool and wow it works so well! I put it in the pool for three hours and the water was bath water warm. I took it out for about 30 minutes and then put it back in for two hours and let me tell you, it was like a damn hot tub!!! We actually had to add some cold water from the hose so our three year old could get in! As others have mentioned, you do need to be cautious when it’s in the water because it will burn you badly if you touch it. And be sure to unplug it before you remove it from the water or it will break. Pretty much just use common sense and you’ll be alright. Just for the fun of it I put it in a 5 gallon bucket and the water was warm within 40 minutes. Overall, I am very satisfied with the results and would definitely recommend!

The media could not be loaded. This is way faster at heating up my water than the 100 watt one I had already, not to mention the ease of use on account of the rubber around the unit so you don’t have to worry about it melting your container. I did experiment on the 100 gallon stock tank (water trough) it went up 23degrees in two hours!! Thought that was pretty good. Our hot tub heats itself up in the same amount of time just for reference.. so this works much better than I had anticipated.. perfect for my camping trips ( I’ve got generators) sorry bout the last pic without the time but I promise it was seriously only 2 hours!! I’ll post the pic with the time if I can find it somewhere…

I needed this to prepare for the upcoming winter. I have outside animals and their water buckets freeze, and it’s such a pain. I hate busting up ice and bringing out new buckets. This is perfect to sit in the bucket and keep the drinking water melted.
