This is a great bunkbed! My kids are very excited about it, and I have found it very sturdy and functional. Both the metal and wood parts seem good quality, very solid and well made for the price, and I didn't experience any sharp metal edges or lumpy welds or broken wood. As others have noted, it takes some time to assemble--took me the better part of a whole Saturday to put it together by myself. There are a lot of parts and steps, and the hex bolts require a larger bit than I had for my socket wrench, so everything had to be tightened by hand with an Allen wrench. Having a socket wrench or drill bit would have helped speed things up somewhat, but there are still so many pieces and steps that it would still probably take a long time. However, I also see that as a mark in its favor, since all the pieces and bolts make for a very sturdy construction. Just plan ahead and give yourself a day or so. One of the main bed posts was missing, the package included a duplicate post in error instead, but I messaged the seller through Amazon and they replied the same day and were able to send the replacement. It arrived within 4 business days despite shipping separately from China. So, full marks to them! ... show more

LOVE IT! Con! It takes alllll daaayyyy to put together! Even with two people, Haha, It came fast in 2big boxes. Only one rod had a little nick on it but nothing to complain about. Other then that totally worth it! * It’s a Sturdy bed and sturdy steps! I (Mom) weigh 166lbs, 5’2 and was able to get up and down without worrying I was going to break it. Lots of Hardware but it makes it stable so you don’t have to put it attached to your wall if you don’t want to. Definitely a great bed for the price!. My 5yr old loves it!, and loves that the lights can change colors to her music too. Great little storage cubby space/draws. Husband & I are supper happy with our purchase! ... show more

This is an amazing bunkbed once put together but directions are mostly pictures without many words. I put three things together wrong even trying to follow the pictures very closely. I had to take them apart and put them together the right way. If you notice holes are not lining up for screws, chances are you have something turned the wrong way. I had the three pieces that you attach to the bed to hang clothes on turned the wrong way and the bed would not come together. Once I turned the pieces the other way, it fit perfectly. The pieces seriously looked like they would fit either way. They did not. Another example is that I had one of the bars that was a stair piece turned the wrong way and so the hole where you were supposed to attach the drawer rails was completely missing. I detached it and turned it around and the hole was on the other side of the bar. The bed took me and my 8 year old grandson about 12 hours to put together stretched out over 2 days. The recessed holes that some of the screws go into really make it frustrating to get the screws to thread. Also, please put screws in individual labeled baggies, preferably zip lock bags. The screw package labels partly disappear once you open the package. The screws roll around and get mixed up. I love the way all the parts had numbers on them. It was fairly easy to look at the diagram and find the necessary pieces to put together. We started out organizing all the pieces by numbers. My grand daughters love the bed. My 8 year old grandson was great help putting it together. Building this bed together built a great memory for us. The lights were easy to put on and an added bonus. Love the stairs. The baskets under the bed are basically 2 baskets on wheels. There is nothing that they hang on or slide on except the floor. I am 64 and ravaged by health issues and I am sure my health slowed me down. Someone else with better vision and less fatigue and pain could have moved much faster! I spent two hours putting this bed together, only to realize at the end that it didn't come with a headboard. Taking it apart would have been another huge waste of time, so that was very disappointing. Aside from that, the bed itself is decent and seems sturdy.

    • Heavy Packages but Nice Bunk Bed

Better than I expected. It did come in two packages on the same day. Heavy packages two person carry. Once all the items were unwrapped and layed out. The assembly part was actually quit easy. Just follow the instructions point A to point B. Two person assemble for sure. It came with two hand books so that should tell you something. We had it done in about 8 hrs with taking breaks. We didn't use the wall mounts so a little wobble on top but not bad. Its a bunk bed after all. I love the stairs and storage. The storage under the bed wasn't what I expected for some reason I thought I attached to the bed but it fits perfectly underneath. There are extra bolts so dont worry its backup incase a bolt is messed up. The bolt packaging was unique but labeled and the parts were labeled too. Best part the tools you need come too. All in all Im happy with this purchase. P.s Don't tighten the bolts all the way until the bed is set up. Go back through and tighten. ... show more

    • Missing parts! Unable to complete setup!

We have put the bunk beds together and we are missing several parts. 1. The screws for the small and large handles for both the large and small side drawers are flat, not pointed, and cannot be threaded into the hole to put on the handles (six on the size and two in the bottom front). Request correct screws. 2. No bottom grates (#52 x2) for large drawers under the bed and no back grate for the drawers either. 3. Missing one plastic handle for large drawer under the bed. Please send We sent a request for these pieces so we can finish assembling the bed or asked for a refund as we were unable to complete the items as described or issue a refund for the defective item. Will modify rating based on feedback from the seller and their ability to resolve the issues. As of now, we are very disappointed in this product. ... show more

It takes two people to put together, this is a beautiful bed, sturdy and spacious. I love the stairs as my 4 year can easily go up and down. Also the drawer has plenty of space for storage. I highly recommend, just beware that assembly does take 6hrs so be patient and work with the manual carefully you will love the results. ... show more
