They glow really bright, and they don't bother the pups at all. I like the collars so much, I returned to order a purple one for our friend's 15 lb pup. This product is incredibly helpful - i can finally see my cat early morning/at night while wondering around the yard - I already was using something similar on my dog. For my cat, after cutting the collar down to size, I also made the end a little smaller so i could easily put it on and take it off without pulling too hard while around my cats neck. 100% will order again!! (Pink - 'regular' size) I have 7.5 acres and live on a dead end road. So, I planned to let my new pup run free. I purchased a gps collar with a light, geofence and other features, but it's a bit bulky and cumbersome for a quick potty break. My (GSP) pup is solid liver and disappears into the night. This collar is perfect to slip over her head and she doesn't seem to notice it. (She only wears it when I let her out after dark) I can easily see her through light brush and in wooded areas... It is still winter here, so no foliage. My only non-complaint/recommendation is I wish there was an option to purchase a second tube for the collar. Since my pup is truly a pup, I had to trim the tube so it wasn't too loose. Her neck has already grown about 2.5" since I purchased the collar. Although I expect it to slide over her head for the next few months, I know she'll outgrow this option in the near future. If I could purchase just a fullsize tube, this would most likely be a lifelong nighttime collar. I've had it for about 3 weeks. I charged it fully upon arrival, and it hasn't faded one bit. I charged it again, for about an hour a couple days ago, just because. It does already have some light scratches, only noticable when lit, but expected from an active dog. ... show more
