    • First of all, this is fun!
I got this thing on a whim because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with drones, and it seemed like a neat thing to tool around the yard with while bored. It takes a bit to get used to. First time out while getting used to it, it went nuts on me and ran it into my house.. that wasn't good enough so I crashed it into a tree shortly after because I turned it around too fast... Started to get the hang of it since then, and already had to change a couple blades because yea.. I'm not pilot lol. Thing also likes to freak out and go nuts like an angry bee if you turn it too fast.. Like seriously "WAIT STOP COME BACK" Pros: It works right out of the box, easy to figure out after a lil reading and a little practice. .Pretty quiet. .Decent camera. .Comes with three batteries, each I estimate run about 20 minutes, and I consider that pretty generous. .First person is a bit lagging, but it's not bad since you're mostly going to be flying it with visual anyway and not in camera.. (but I did have visions of such around my yard.. oh well.) .Goes UP real easy and fast. Cons: .Blades are fragile. .Not enough spare blades and the parts kit also has most of what I do NOT want with limited blades. .It doesn't hover perfectly level. It's pretty dern good, but even indoors with no wind, this thing moves around a lot. .Extreme care is needed when yawing - This thing will go full on kamikaze if you yaw it too fast. VERY easy to lose control of. .Comes down very very slow so if the wind has you, start praying. What would I recommend for improvement? .Needs better stabilization. .Really needs a "STOP RIGHT HERE AND DONT MOVE" function. .Need to sell 'just the propellers' as a kit because if you're like me it's going to hit a lot of stuff. .Weight doesn't seem to be very well balanced and I think they went for looks instead of center mass.. (I think I might play around with some counter weights just to see what happens.) Overall: I still love it, and it's way better than what I expected for the price. If you're looking for a "first time" decent but not wallet breaking drone to play around with? It's got my vote. I do not recommend for kids because there's no caging on the propellers. ... show more
