We've only had it a few days, so I'll try to come back and update later if anything changes, but so far this drone is great, especially for the price (I paid around $35 in 2023). It is so easy to fly and do tricks. Both my 9 year old and 6 year old learned and mastered all the features within a couple of hours. We've flown it indoors and outdoors for many hours a day several days in a row now. As others said, the battery life is not great. A battery lasts maybe 10 - 15 minutes, and does take a long time (more than an hour) to charge. But I bought 2 more backups on Amazon, so we get a solid hour or more of play before we're completely out of batteries. It's already withstood several crashes into trees and book shelves too. Seems very sturdy. At one point it got hung very high on a tree branch and we had to climb a ladder and knock it down with a long pole. Not a scratch! I also love that you don't need a cell phone or app at all. Completely self contained. All in all this was a great purchase so far. ... show more

Update to my review. We did have a propeller break the first day we used it but have not had one break since then. We have flown it many times indoors and outdoors, and it does great. It's really easy for my 5 year old to control, and my husband loves flying it as well. The batteries don't last very long, but it came with two, so we get to fly it for about 15-20 minutes. The batteries do charge pretty quickly. Old review: This drone is easy to operate and great for young kids, but a propeller broke the first day we used it. It doesn’t seem very durable. Luckily, it comes with replacement propellers, but I have a feeling we’re going to need a bunch. ... show more

This is such a cost friendly drone, but the charge doesn’t last very long. Luckily there are two batteries which does help. Toddler has no trouble running the remote and after multiple falls it still is in one piece! The lights make it fun for the kids!

I don't normally do reviews, but this drone is awesome! Bought it to replace another drone that was twice as expensive as this one and was terrible. This drone seems well built and is super easy for my 9 year old to fly. Out of the 4 drones we own now, this was the least expensive, but flys the best and the lights are cool too. This little drone works so well once you get the hang of it. My kids love it. My husband loves it. They like to play chase with it. My husband hunts them down with it lol! It lights up really well and does flips. Comes with an extra battery to play with while the other charges. It does not last too long. Each battery life is only around ten minutes unless you turn off the lights and make it go "dark." Charges quickly though. Worth it. Just wish the battery life was like it said it was. ... show more

My girls really enjoy this, fairly simple to understand and use. Our batteries last a max of 10 minutes for a charge out of the box though. So we can't even take this to an open field somewhere since we'll get only 20 minutes with the two batteries that were included, really a bummer. Within the first two days we've already lost the capacity to use the trick button- 3d flips don't work anymore. Otherwise seems to be hanging in there. ... show more

This was a really nice lightweight drone that was fun to fly indoors. It was quick to setup and flew pretty well. Unfortunately it is lightweight. It would be best if the pilot was 100% familiar with flying the drone before flying outdoors in the wind. Unfortunately my son was not, and the drone got blown into a water reserve park and got lost in the tall grass/bushes/trees. Oh well, it was fun while we had it. We are thinking about buying another one or maybe a different drone that is heavier. ... show more

My 9yo loves this drone. It was easy for him to figure out how to fly and to change the batteries etc. It's nice that it comes with an extra battery since a charge only lasts 10-15 minutes. The different colored lights help figure out which direction to fly and are fun in the dark. All of that being said, like many inexpensive drones this thing takes off, I mean gone forever. If you fly it too high - it seems to lose communication with the remote, and if it's at all windy, it will float away never to be seen again. So keep it indoors or fly it below the fence line and you should be ok. This was our 2nd time purchasing this drone. The 1st one never did turn up. ... show more
