I recently got the Racebeast RC Boat for my son and I and have taken it out a few times on both a lake and in our pool. It’s an absolute blast on the water. Right out of the box it feels solid and well built, the carrying bag and foam insulation make it easy to carry around and not worry about it getting smashed in the trunk. On the water this little boat is fast and totally hits the 40mph mark. Watch out in the pool as this thing gets to the other side in the blink of an eye. The self-righting feature actually worked for us when it flipped in a sharp turn and popped right back over. The controls are responsive and I love that it has different speed settings, which helped my son try it out safely too. The LED lights are a nice touch for evening runs and the low battery warning saved us from losing it off shore. The waterproofing held up perfectly, just make sure to leave it open to dry after use to ensure the bay is completely dry for your next ride. The battery life is about 15 minutes so I’d recommend grabbing a second one to lessen down time. Overall, it’s been a fun, fast, and reliable RC boat that’s great for both serious RC fans and beginners.

The boat is nice looking, has good packaging but after 2 times of use it has died on us. For the amount of money this boat cost it is very disappointing. We have been trying to find the perfect RC boat for my son and haven’t had any luck. The return process is easy yet we have to wait a while before we are refunded. I do not recommend buying this boat or any of the cheaper ones!

This RC boat is awesome! We tried it out in our pool first before taking it to the lake and also to get a little practice with steering. It’s really fast (goes over 40 MPH) and works great in lakes, rivers, and even salt water. It’s easy to control, and if it flips over, it fixes itself automatically. The LED lights make it fun to use in the evening, and it even has a little fishing function if you want to pull something light. It comes with a carry bag, which makes it easy to bring anywhere. What I liked: • Very fast and powerful • Works in salt water and fresh water • Self-rights if it flips • LED lights and fishing feature • Carry bag included. It does take a little practice to steer at full speed. Overall, this is a great RC boat for both kids and adults. Tons of fun and definitely worth it!
