  • Pro-consumer grade spray gun at a shockingly good price!
Outstanding. I could not be happier in the context of a proho, DIY’er, spray gun. I have used this to spray Behr oil-based waterproof stain (no thinning required, per instruction manual!!) on nearly two hundred feet of installed and dried picket fence over the course of a few afternoons, thirty minutes at a time. I am overjoyed at the value of this spray gun. And while I don’t have experience with anything else, this gun is easy to use and works perfectly. It appears very well made, tough, and the spray orientation is easy to adjust by twisting the nozzle. With the black nozzle, the spray pattern is sufficient for my needs, provides “one and done” coverage, but sure does use a lot of material/paint stain. I may experiment with the other nozzles, but I’m happy that this one doesn’t require me to go back and apply another coat. Using a Milwaukee 8.0 HO battery, it drains about one bar per thirty minutes of continuous spraying. Cleanup is simple after using oil based paint/stain: 1. Pour remaining paint back into your paint bucket. 2. Use a few paper towels to absorb and wipe out most of the paint from the reservoir. 3. Pour a few ounces of paint thinner into the reservoir and shake vigorously for ten seconds. 4. Spray paint thinner back out of spray gun to clean the reservoir tube and internal parts. 5. Remove reservoir, collar, nozzle, and use paper towels dipped in paint thinner to wipe them clean. The whole cleanup process takes two minutes, max! I couldn’t be happier. Well, I might be a little happier if I could buy a larger paint reservoir. But a larger reservoir would add extra weight, so maybe this is fine. ... show more

  • Reliable, Easy-to-Use Sprayer for DIY Painting Projects
I used this brushless cordless paint sprayer heavily on a recent furniture refresh, and it made the job a lot faster and cleaner than brushes or rollers. The spray effectiveness is solid—coverage is even, and the 1000 ml/min flow rate keeps things moving without constantly refilling. It handled furniture primers and latex paint well once thinned to the manufacturer’s guidelines (the 150 Din/s limit is helpful to keep in mind). Ease of cleaning was better than I expected. The 1200 ml container pops off quickly, and rinsing the nozzle and passages with warm water (or the right solvent) only took a few minutes between colors. A quick flush keeps clogs at bay, and a toothbrush for the tip did the trick after a long session. On durability, the brushless motor feels like a win—consistent power, no weird smells or overheating, and the housing feels sturdy. Mine took a light bump during the project and kept going fine. The controls feel tight, not loose or flimsy. In terms of use, it’s straightforward: snap in a Milwaukee 18V battery (I used an M18), fill, set your flow, and go. It’s nicely balanced in hand, and the trigger response is predictable, which helped on cabinet doors and drawer fronts. With the 1200 ml tank full, it’s a bit heavier, but the trade-off is fewer stops to refill. Overall, the quality is impressive for the price—clean edges, smooth finish, and consistent performance over multiple days. Quick tips: thin paint per the label, strain it before filling, and do a 30‑second test spray on cardboard. A fast rinse between coats keeps results looking pro. ... show more

  • Phenomenal inexpensive tool with excellent results
Amazing paint sprayer! I was able to leave the paint in the sprayer for days and no blockages (of course you shouldn’t do that). Cleans super easy. Battery time is great. You can tell when the battery is getting low, by the spraying becoming lighter and lighter…which was beneficial for applying lighter touch up coats after applying the thick coats. Make sure to thin out the paints to their requirements. The finish is super clean and smooth (I painted all my cabinets lying down (face up) to get a nice flat sheen (Benjamin Moore Advanced satin finish paint- pre primed) The paint holder holds plenty of paint. I painted 5 cabinets with three coats, and still had half of the container left. Such a huge time and paint saver. Also, very little mess compared to the Wagner model we have. Over spray is minimal, and there was very little paint dust. Clean up is simple and not too messy. I recommend leaving the little parts in the paint holder filled with water after cleaning. All in all, this is a phenomenal investment for the small price tag! ... show more

  • This is the review to read before buying.
Bought this as I’ve been doing more woodworking projects and the time to apply poly by hand had become unbearable with bigger projects. This thing is an absolute time saver! Pro’s: -Uses the batteries you already to have. No cord is a huge plus, especially in the portable paint booth I use. - Cuts the time to apply poly down from hours to minutes on large products. - Easy to dissemble and clean. The parts quality and eh. Wouldn’t use this for commercial use, but for garage projects and furnitures it works great. - Instructions don’t mention it, but recommend a half trigger pull to keep the fan going, then full pull for fluid application. This keeps the motor running so there is not as much delay when starting your pass. Cons: - Instructions are either outdated or just for the wrong product. Tells you the general purpose nozzle is installed (white one) when the blue nozzle (the largest one) was. This led to spatter the first time I used it. The instructions also tell you to turn the flow knob to max and then adjust. This causes way too much fluid to shoot out, then leads to spatter as you try to dial it in. - Trigger can be a bit weird to learn, but becomes easier after the first few coats. ABSOLUTELY PRACTICE ON SCRAP BEFORE YOUR PROJECT. We’re all here to look for a cheaper option for spray gun. With that is going to come some quirks. None of which on this product are too difficult to overcome or adjust. 100% would buy again. 4 starts because the instructions could be better and quality isn’t amazing. But it doesn’t feel too cheap either. ... show more
