    • They work, but quality is not top notch
These connectors certainly work, but they are cumbersome to install. The cord grip will have to be enlarged for any cable over about 20 gauge. The contact assembly will come out of the housing, which actually makes it easier to get a screwdriver ont the terminals, but isn't a great design. Lining up the screws to the cord grip end is tricky since there is no guide notch as with better connectors. Once assembled, they seem to work just fine, but I would use these only for low impact and low wear and tear conditions. I have these installed in a theatre on the end of some custom length extension cords which are rarely ever disturbed. I would not use these connectors in any environment subject to moisture, including for lawn care extension cords. But, for inexpensive connectors that don't see a lot of stress, they will do the job. ... show more

the item is about the dumbest designed socket I've ever come across. Something that should or taken no more than 12 minutes to do, took more than 1/2 hour. I got a bag of them now. Nothing lines up easily and the screws go into rubber, nothing solid so when your screwing the screws in you don't know if it's in anything, it never really tightens down. These aren't as good as a Hubble connector but you can buy 10 of these for the price of 1 Hubble. Great for light duty applications.

It's made for dry weather, shouldn't leave it on cords left outside all the time. Seems to be a good product, haven't really used it much yet, used them to fix some short drop cords.
