I purchased this leather jacket to wear in the Northeastern Fall and Spring seasons. I paid attention to the top half dozen or so reviews and felt that I had made a good decision ordering the large size. While waiting the two days for arrival, I scrolled through the long list of additional reviews. I became distressed with the criticism and dreaded my perceived certainty that I would have to return my jacket for a larger size. This is what I discovered upon my jacket's arrival: • The jacket was neatly wrapped surrounded by tissue paper in its personalized zippered garment bag. • The smell upon unzipping the garment bag was distinctly "new leather". • Holding up the jacket, it looked big enough to fit. The style of the jacket was just like the image on Amazon except not as "distressed" in appearance. Just a bit distressed, just to show that it is real soft and supple leather. (I will have to put the wear on myself.) • There were no blemishes or imperfections that I could see. The lining was well made. • After trying my jacket on, I was pleased at how well it fit across my shoulders and down the length of my arms. Zipping up the jacket did not prove to be seam busting to my relief. However it was snug across my chest. After five minutes the leather "gave" a bit and it was like a wearing a second skin. Fit around my waist and butt is perfect. Interested purchasers should pay attention to posted sizing chart. I would not want to go up a size and have the jacket appear too big and goofy. I have since worn a hoodie underneath this jacket and found the large size still good to go. • the five pockets are not large but adequate for my needs. My standard size smart phone slides in and out perfectly. After all, this jacket is not a military style field jacket. This leather jacket is a keeper for me. But I will add this warning. This style of jacket provides a slim athletic fit. Be honest with your body type. Someone that is big around the middle may be better served with a different style than this second skin fitting beauty.

My old leather jacket, which I had for many years, was worn out so I was looking for a replacement. I'm 6'3" and ordered my usual size "L". Unfortunately, the arm holes weren't spaced far enough apart and I struggled to put it on. It looked great once I got it on, although a bit short for my torso. So I returned the size "L" and moved up to an "XL". In that case, it fit great in the shoulders but the body was just too big, despite tightening the straps. Sadly, I had to return it as well. Nevertheless, it is a stylish and well-made jacket. The leather was soft and blemish free. The jacket is very well made and fully worth the price.

I only received this jacket today so I can't speak about it's durability but it looks well made. Leather is soft and the color is exactly what I wanted, a vintage looking brown. There are two slash pockets on the outside and three on the inside. Two are quite roomy but manufacturers had better get on the ball and realize cell phones are larger than they were a few years ago. Your cell likely won't fit the so called cell phone pocket. No big deal though. I'm 6'4" and 185 lbs. According to size chart I should take a large but I gambled and ordered an XL. Glad I did as the L would have been a bit tight with a sweat shirt, etc... under it. Sleeve length could have been a bit longer but it's acceptable as it is. Jacket has a nice retro, but timeless look that will not go out of style. All in all this is a nice, light weight 3 season jacket for casual wear. If you are a biker looking for a jacket keep looking. It will not provide any degree of protection.

I am still debating whether to keep this jacket or return it. This is going to be a gift for a teenage nephew who is going to wear this more for looks than warmth or the fact that it is supposed to be 100% real lambskin leather. And the only reason I may keep this is because he personally picked this himself and I do not want to disappoint him. With that said...aesthetically, it looks good enough. It looks as it appeared on the website. But Amazon site claims this is 100% real lambskin leather. It DOES NOT smell like leather to me. Nowhere on the jacket label does it say it is lambskin. I've had lambskin leather jacket before...this jacket does not feel or smell like the jacket I had. One reviewer said his jacket was shipped neatly wrapped surrounded by tissue paper in its personalized zippered garment bag. NOT SO in my case. The jacket I received was FOLDED into 4 and shipped in a 12" x 15" black zippered dust bag. Amazon website posted this as "Blingsoul Real Lambskin Black Leather Jacket". I don't know if Blingsoul is the brand name. But the jacket I received is labeled "Jose Leather Jacket Black RL". Did Amazon shipped me wrong item? Or is Amazon in the habit of posting one thing and shipping their customer another or whatever inventory they have and hope customer will not notice? Bottom line...I WOULD NOT recommend this to anybody.

Smooth leather, good fit. A bit bumpy with the return process when needing a different size. Be sure your return label is prepaid...first one was not and Amazon didn't catch that even when discussed. BUT seller corrected the mistake and otherwise very attentive service that I truly appreciated. Just be careful when Amazon recommends your usual sizing based on your purchases...this jacket in medium runs a bit small so get a large if you in the 5'9-5'10 range and at 170 lbs as I am. This will be a more comfortable waist fit and under the arms also when you raise and lower your arms it won't feel tight but more natural.
