    • Best machine to use!
I got this machine for Christmas 2024. Previously I was using a used 2016 machine I bought from someone. Using my previous machine made me hate sewing. I felt like I wasn’t good at it. It would get jammed and I would get so frustrated. This machine? Not one issue! I use it every day and every time I use it I find a new feature I didn’t realize it had! I love the threader (my previous machine didn’t have one). I love the blade on the side for ease of cutting. Plus the extra feet it came with are so useful! This machine glides through thick fabric like butter! I use the extender 99% of the time while sewing. It makes balancing fabric soooo much easier! Very rarely do I find myself “fighting” the fabric. If I had to complain about something it would that I didn’t get it sooner! Tbh I have no complaints. I love the simplicity of the knobs instead of a digital screen. Even though it’s “simple” this machine packs a punch! Awesome features! It may be intimidating for someone first starting out. I do say watch a lot of videos. But just start! Sew on some scrap fabric and it’ll come to you! This machine is so easy to use, it makes me want to sew every chance I get! Great product. If I end up having issues with time I will edit my review. Ps I know this review sounds like I’ve been paid to place it. I HAVNT! I truly just love this machine and couldn’t recommend it more! ... show more

Got this for my 85 year old mom. She's been sewing since the days of the trundle machines and has probably worked on everything invented. I read a lot of reviews because I was originally defaulting to the king of machines that starts with "S". but? mom said..."aw those are ____ now, Get something else" Well, she does like this one but she said it took her a bit to figure it out. ... show more

    • Inexpensive, large sewing surface machine.
So far this machine has worked well. Wish I had paid more attention to some of the extras that would have been nice to have like auto needle threader. The extra sewing table has proven to be a game changer. I leave it attached as it makes sewing anything much easier. I'm a Brother machine owner of 4 different ones and this has proven to be a good buy. They are work horses. This is easy to operate and sews well. I stitched in the ditch on a large tree skirt, worked like a charm. If you purchase this machine you will not be disappointed especially if your main objection is to sew larger items.
