I had an older sewing machine that was constantly getting tangled and sounded like something was banging on the inside. It was most likely out of sync/needed to be readjusted. I saw this refurbished sewing machine and never looked back. It was super easy to learn, everything felt and sounded smooth. Came with all the accessories and even a basic walking foot. The machine didn't even look like it was used. I haven't used it much so I can't comment on how long it will last, but for the price, I'm not even worried. I like this machine for a student machine because it is easy to use, thread, and bobbin placing. It also has a speed control so you can set it to 1 arrow and go slowly until you build your skill and confidence, or you can use them to control the speed for fine work.
