I have absolutely loved this machine! I've had it for about 8 months, and I haven't had a single issue with it. This was my first sewing machine ever, and I found it super easy to learn on. It's straight forward but still has a great amount of stitch options (including zig zag, button hole making, etc.). I spent a really long time researching a machine to buy, and I'm so glad I went with this one! It's great for a beginner, but it's also serving me well as I become an intermediate sewer. It's not too heavy, so it's been easy for me to travel with it to sewing classes and/or social sewing :) It's not too noisey, either. I really don't have any cons for this machine! ... show more

I’ve loved the machine since I got it. Brand new to sewing and it was all pretty easy to set up. It’s decently loud but idk how loud they’re suppose to be, definitely bearable. The amount of stitches was overwhelming at first but there is a section in the book or you can look up that explains what each one is and how to use it. So far I love it! ... show more

I'm not a seamstress by any means, but this machine made doing simple hems very easy. It's pretty self-explanatory and the directions are easy to follow if you're not familiar with sewing machines.

I just took up sewing after purchasing this machine. I have already been able to sew multiple outfits of doll clothes as I am learning. This machine is actually very easy to use. There is a small learning curve to threading the machine, but there are plenty of videos online. And once I learned, it is now very simple to thread both the top spool and bobbin. And the automatic threader is the same… learning curve but pretty simple once learned. And so many built in stitches. I love this! It is also lightweight for a sewing machine. Way lighter than the one my mom had when I was growing up. And way easier to use, especially for a newbie. I got it here with the case for a great price of only $160 with the case. A local store was selling just the machine for $219 plus $50 for the case. So it was a great deal. ... show more

Functionality? Good. Jamming frequency? Only happened once and it was my fault. Speed? Can't go on a tear or the thread flies off the spindle and onto the floor. Value? Great price. Brightness? Excellent. I had a Brothers XL-3200 that I appsolutely loved. I took it in for it's once-a-year cleaning and the idiots charged me $189.00 and just messed up my poor baby so bad it was unusable.
