I'm an experienced seamstress and have many commercial machines but was looking for a machine to do buttonholes and came across this Brother Sewing Machine. Came packaged nicely. Machine seems sturdy and solid. Set up was super easy. Comes with many different stitch types. Super great machine for beginners and more. Stitches are great and runs fairly fast and smooth. Comes with extensive manual that is very easy to understand. Only con is the storage on the machine. Really good for beginners. I'd learned sewing basics when I was younger and decided to pick it up again for alteration and small projects. It was super easy to figure out and use. It doesn't do great on thicker fabric but overall does well.
