Description

Easy to set up, and easy to use, the reliable Brother 1634D serger is perfect for finishing, creating rolled hems, inserting zippers, stitching neat blind hems, and creating ruffles on both knits and woven fabrics. This machine allows you to work with three or four threads, with 1-needle 3-thread, or 2-needle 4-thread options. Included are a standard foot, blind stitch foot, gathering foot, soft cover, and useful accessories. The 1634D features an easy to follow, color-coded lay-in threading system, a removable free arm for cuffs, sleeves and cylindrical projects, and a convenient removable trim trap. The included instructional video and printed manual make it easy to get started, even for those new to using a serger.

I did not receive an Instruction Manuel or Reference Guide, Upon getting busy with my machine, the upper looper is not positioned correctly, I had to loosen the Allen screw to get the machine to flow, but even with moving the upper looper into a free flow position, it is not working smooth I have broke 1 needle and doing my stitch length and width set up. The looper arm/ cam is out of alignment. I would like someone to respond and set me up with a new precision working machine with manual, I have downloaded one off internet but I also want the cheat sheet advertised as included. ... show more

After watching YouTube for 3 days I threaded it and began to sew. I didn’t know it was so fast OH MY GOODNESS! I made pjs for my grand children (4) in 2 days. I wish I had brought a serger sooner. It’s works like a dream.

Absolutely unacceptable! This machine was supposed to be refurbished. It is filthy, and that's an understatement. I opened it up and fuzz flew all over the place, its stuck to the mechanisms. Will never buy from this seller again. Very disappointed.

    • Not really sure.
My machine cutter does not work. I thought my machine had a small cosmetic blemish. The machine is beautiful It just does not cut.
