I’ve had the bed now for over a month and I am so happy with my purchase. It is def medium firm and I found it not as firm as I expected but I am finding that I don’t mind it. I do recommend making sure you have the bed on the frame before opening the plastic because it inflates very quickly!

My wife and I have been through numerous mattresses over the last 10 years. We’ve spent anywhere from $200 to $1500. This is hands down the best mattress we’ve owned. Quality seems good. I honestly thought it would be a little stiff to sleep on given all the reviews I read, but it seems just right for us (I weight 275 and my wife 190). The comfort level is at about an 8.5 for us (the edges of the mattress could use a little more support, but it’s really not bad). We purchased the king size mattress with the CoolioTech option - there is a huge difference with it! I’d recommend this to anyone looking for great value for their money. This mattress isn’t going anywhere for us!

I'm only 230 lbs, bought the mattress in August 2024. This is March 2025 and the mattress provides enough support, but I wish it was one degree firmer = extra firm. I sleep well on it most of the time.

So I had my old Sealy mattress for eight years, I was no longer getting even a decent night sleep. Never mind a good one. I had tried a Casper but found it was way too soft for my liking. After plenty of research I decided to go with the Titan by Brooklyn Bedding. I am a plus size woman and they recommended this bed for people who are larger. This bed is perfect. FedEx left the box just thrown all williy nilly on my front stoop. It arrived more beat up than I thought it would as the box had huge holes. The carrying handles no longer existed, so I had a difficult time getting it inside. I tried to carry the box and it ripped even more, so I just pushed it in. Thankful that I live in a garden apartment, if you live upstairs I would suggest having help. I can lift 50lbs pretty easily and this mattress had to weigh way more than that. I was glad the plastic covering the mattress was still intact, so I cut it before I went to bed that night. By morning the mattress seem to had risen to the full 11in. There was no smell but I didn't sleep on it for 48hrs because I wanted to make sure it rose completely. This is the best mattress I have ever slept on. My brother is tall and skinny, he said the mattress was a bit too firm for him. However, when I slept in it I noticed it was soft and conformed to my body. There is no motion transference and it sleeps pretty cool. It has been almost a decade since I slept through the night without waking up sweating or uncomfortable. I slept almost 7 hours straight my first night. If you like as firm bed, sleep on your back or side and are on the larger side, get this bed.

I received excellent customer service from this seller, but the mattress was a dismal failure someone, came up with the idea of manufacturing mattresses and then folding, crushing and rolling it into a fraction of their actual size, and then having a shipping company deliver it. Then, we as consumers expect that to work out just fine. Not for me! This was my second attempt at purchasing a mattress in this way and both purchases were just awful. This mattress purports to be ideal for heavy people, indicating the capacity was 1,000 lbs, 500 lbs on each side of the mattress. I like a very firm bed, so at 225 lbs, I thought it would be ideal. I couldn’t have been more incorrect. It is an odd mattress. They call it a hybrid, but it really is all coils, and not quality coils, at that. There is a thin layer of foam, that certainly is not "memory foam", per the original definition of memory foam, as in, Tempur-pedic. I sank into the mattress immediately and when moving in the night, I had to crawl out of a trench made by my body. Not good! I gave it a sufficient period of time to determine if I could make it work for me. It didn't. The mattress can be folded like a taco easily by one person. I have never seen a mattress constructed in a way that would allow that. On the bottom, the coils are only covered by a thin layer of material. I mean, they are right there. You can see the shapes and feel the coils. I mean, they are right there, no padding or, minuscule padding, at best. I contacted the company and was asked to donate the mattress and to provide proof of the donation, which I did. I received a full refund within a few days. I seriously would recommend anyone considering a mattress-in-a-box to rethink the choice. Ideally, in my opinion, the best thing to do would be, to go to a local mattress store with a good return policy. Yes, purchasing a mattress in-store is like buying a used car. Not very pleasant. Purchasing a mattress online works for some people, just not me. Not all companies will be as reputable as this one. Plus, I had to figure a way to get the mattress to St. Vincent de Paul, to donate. I don’t need the aggravation or the hassle.

I worried about my husband’s lack of sleep. For health reasons we sleep in separate rooms but I knew he didn’t sleep well. I got him a FitBit which confirmed his lack of sleep. It was WAY worse than I thought. He has been getting on average 3 hours of sleep a night. So we got him this Titan mattress as a Christmas/Birthday gift. It was a rugged 24 hours waiting for it to fully expand. Though I think he could have slept on it sooner. He wanted to wait till he was certain it was fully inflated. So he slept a bit with me but moved to his recliner. Last night he slept well over six hours. Lol, I hear him singing in the kitchen as I write this and I know how good he feels. Thanks Brooklyn Bedding for helping my husband finally get a wonderful night’s sleep; at least he considers 6 hours wonderful. Looking forward to seeing him clock in a solid 8!
