I normally but another brand but it’s almost twice the cost so figured I’d try this one. I haven’t had time to find someone to install yet but anticipate soon! I will update my review IF they allow me to if there are any issues with this brand but for now it gets 5 stars!

Took me less than an hour to install about a year ago. I was so excited to find one that’s mechanical and doesn’t require an outlet. Sadly, it takes forever for hot water to reach this end of my home. But just having cold water is helpful. I use this daily and wish I had known about bidets a decade sooner! I did need to purchase and apply spacers to the seat to leave space for this. Next time I may try one that’s in the back and not the side but this seems like it will hold up for quite a while. ... show more

    • Poor Seat Compatibility, Poor Decisions, Incorrect Instructions
I wanted a bidet attachment that gave me a bit more control over the spray location, and this looked like the bidet attachment for me. Unfortunately, poor seat compatibility, poor design decisions, and incorrect instructions made this abomination completely impossible for me to install in its entirety. Let's start with the poor seat compatibility. Brondell's own heated toilet seats can't even be installed at the same time as this thing. Sure, you could just buy one of Brondell's more feature-rich bidet seats, but none of those let you move the spray nozzle so precisely. The problem is the hollow bolt that you use when connecting this bidet attachment to your toilet. Brondell's heated toilet seats use these proprietary plastic bolts with the rail that the seat attaches to connected directly to the end of the bolt. Heaven forbid Brondell make a slightly different bolt that WOULD fit through. So, I ended up buying another brand of heated toilet seat that worked once I purchased a slightly longer bolt for it. Imagine that: NON-PROPRIETARY BOLTS. Anyway, moving on, I have a 1/2" supply line going to the 1/2" shutoff valve beneath my sink, so the simplest way to accomplish this was to swap out my supply line with one with a 1/2" connector at the faucet and a 3/8" connector to go into the three-way hot water valve included with this bidet attachment, then another connector (which is listed in the manual as a part you might need - more on that in a moment) to adapt the 3/8" connector at the other end of the three-way hot water valve back to a 1/2" connector. Unfortunately, I simply couldn't find this elusive piece that the manual includes. It was out of stock at my local hardware store. The one I ordered on Amazon was way too large. The one I ordered on eBay was a bit too small. None of the product listings I've seen ANYWHERE online include every single word in the part name/description, and the ones that seem close are going to take me days or weeks to receive, and I'm just tired of taking the various components of my hot water connection underneath my sink apart to deal with this any longer. Now, this all could've been avoided had Brondell just included the necessary PARTS for adapting a 1/2" line to this. And yeah, that's right: I said PARTS. The manual seems to think you can get away with using a single part to make this all work when it's pretty apparent you'd have to adapt both ends of the three-way valve to fit your existing hot water line if it doesn't fit on either end. Excellent quality. Wand swings from the front which is advantageous for women. Swing wand into position. Adjust water flow. Can move wand back and forth. As well as adjust body. Turn water off. REMEMBER to swing wand forward into resting position under rim before reaching to wipe yourself dry. After trying several other ones, this one is definitely a keeper. ... show more

I tried $600 Kohler Seat, $200 Brondell Seat, returned both. This thing was the best and cheapest. All others have to much plastic. I didn’t like the idea of adding a heated tank for the $600 unit and it was ugly as sin. The plastic parts that move the head or a cover were prone to fail. This thing is so well made. I did see comments that you don’t need hot water. They are right. Not as bad as you would think. But I wanted hot water for sanitary sake. You do have to remember to tuck it away. My wife has to sit further back than she is used to. And has to partially swing it closed to get the lady parts. I added foam to stop it from spraying out the side. This allows for a warm up position. Works perfect. Need to find something that looks better. I ran a dedicated hot water line. I want to replace the clear plastic hose with braided. Same as cold. I also peeled off the rubber pad on the mounting arm and replaced that with 3M double sided foam tape. That locks it in nicely. Also found this Kohler seat that covers the entire hinge area. A higher end Kohler seat wouldn’t work at all because the seat curved into the bowl to sharply and hit bidet. Update: I didn’t like the weak plastic tube used for hot water. After all, the whole reason I liked this unit was the lack of plastics. The hose I needed so happened to be exactly what they supply for cold water. I could not find this line any where. It’s a bit unique. So I contacted Brondell. First, they wanted the serial number on the bottom of the unit and proof of purchase in order to identify the hose. Well I was not about to remove it because I used very strong 3M double sided foam to prevent it from twisting. I told them I wanted to use it for the hot side. When they heard that, they flat out refused to sell me the hose. Claiming that the stainless steel branded hose used for cold would fail, flood my home and the cheap plastic hose was superior. Blah blah. The only reason for the clear plastic hose is cost and easy to cut to length. I didn’t need that. So I bought second unit and used the hose from that. Funny thing is, there is no identify number anywhere on the unit. For that reason I downgraded my review for their support being arrogant and incompetent. I added a photo showing the two braided lines. Much better looking and robust long term. Only cost me double ( with spare parts ). ... show more

Works great, but the compression fittings on the hot water side are better replaced by a standard toilet supply hose.
