Excellent and perfect for my blue wave STL with riser. (No T top) Sits just right behind seat. Removed bottom mount for the angle. Test/tired on on cheap (fish-bait) ice chest. Used 10-24 rivet nuts. Very satisfied with out come.

Just got this yesterday, in the process of mounting now. This rod holder is what the doctor ordered. I am tired of my Bass rods all over the deck, yet I need a system to quickly change rods and set ups. I mounted this puppy just before the step up to the forward casting platform. I can switch out rigs very easy and am not stepping on other rods. Well made, good quality. I highly recommend this holder for anyone that needs more organization on their boat.     • Requires too many holes for mounting, two holes in the boat per tube, 5 rod holder requires 10 holes in your boat.

Not real sure what to think about it. It is not bolted together like some say. The tubes are not mounted to the cross member. I got the 5 tube rod holder mount, based on people stating it is bolted together or screwed together yet it is not. The 5 tube rod holder will require you to drill 10 holes in the boat to mount it. They come with screws that mount in the tube, extend though the mount into the boat, 2 per tube that hold the tube to the cross member then into the boat, wall, or anything you want to mount it to. Most racks are bolted together or molded as one piece, free of the mounting bolts or use 4 longer screws or bolts to mount to boat. Not sure I want to drill 10 holes to mount this on my boat. A second picture showing the tubes, screws and cross members as they ship saying it will require you to drill 2 holes for each tube to mount on the boat. ... show more
