My family and I are having tons of fun with this bird feeder. We live in a semi-rural area surrounded by woods, and the variety of birds in our area is HUGE but they move so fast, we can only get a glimpse of them from time to time, especially the unique ones that are most beautiful. We invested in a camera bird feeder after searching around on easy ways for my family and I to see what birds were in the neighborhood, and we settled on this model. This feeder has a super high quality camera attached to the main compartment. It connects to your home Wifi system, to allow you to watch your feeder in real time. There is a easy to use app on your phone to download, I had no trouble installing or using the app, and it works really great. It sends you pictures! It even has an AI feature that works pretty well, to help identify the birds. From a power perspective, the camera does have an onboard battery, and the feeder itself has a solar panel on top to help keep the battery charged. Now keep in mind, the solar panel just extends the time between charges of the main battery. I normally charge the battery inside overnight about once a week, and this is usually when I add more bird seed to the onboard seed holder, so the panel does help extend the battery life, but it is not 100% the only way to keep it charged. From a install perspective, overall this feeder is relatively complex to put together, as well as setup. Grandma is absolutely not going to be doing this. You need a relatively handy person to put it together, mount it, then a techy person to help get the camera card installed, and the Wi-Fi setup. It took about an hour all in. The instructions are pretty good, the English is fine but it would have been nice to have a few more steps to help explain things. All that being said, I am very happy with this feeder. My kids and I are enjoying the candid views of the birds on the included perch of the feeder, and it has stood up well to the elements. Take good care of this product and it feels like it will last. We are super happy!

I absolutely love my bird feeder! Easy to install and the phone app is great! I can mirror it to the TV indoors and watch the action in super large! We live on the edge of the city and I have woods behind my home. I guess a raccoon decided he liked the bird feeder and what was inside. Next day I contacted Customer Service about replacement bracket and attachment. They are replacing the 2 pieces for me. Excellent Customer Service! Thank you so much!

The media could not be loaded. I was blown away the moment after setting this up. The camera and the bird feeder made with high-quality material as well as the video footage is so clear like the photo I added here. I only charged the camera once which is very important when pairing your phone with it via blue tooth and QR Code technology because once you connect the camera in the solar panel cable you're good to go. It also has feature where you can see the battery indicator in your phone. What I also like is the motion detection or bird notification once they detect the birds you can hear a sound. One thing nice is once they detect the bird it will also give you an information kind of bird you capture. The bird feeder looks good, easy to install and have two option either you use the strap that goes with it or drill them. So easy to clean and remove the parts like when you refill the bird food and change the water. The size is typical for few birds and it's ok for me but maybe when manufacturing a new one put an extra stick or room to cater more birds. Overall, I am very satisfied with this and been talking about this to my friends. Highly recommended.

UPDATE: the camera is now failing. I give it smoother couple of weeks before I am throwing this in the trash. This has happened in a week. Not sure what has happened but it is definitely failing. Originally review: Set up was easy for the most part. The camera is decent and so far after a week of use the solar array keeps the battery charged. I will have to see how long it will be before I have to remove the camera to charge it back to 100%. As far as the AI identifying the Bird it is sub par at best. Most of the time we have to google the bird look to find out the type. You also can not see the sides of the feeder so you miss birds if they are on the side where the seeds are. The bird has to be right in front of the camera on the perch to get a good view of them. The water holder helps to keep them in frame most of the time and I have not used the fruit holder yet, so I can not offer a review on this piece. The alerts come into your phone in about a 1-3 minutes. This is excepted considering the server is probably in China.
