My husband bought me this motion activated smart camera bird feeder for Christmas, and I am amazed at the quality of the pictures it takes. I shared 4 pictures here to show you the fun pictures it takes, from motion shots to close ups, and even night vision. He set it up for me quite easily, and once the birds discovered it, there have been many different types visiting. You can even identify the birds using AI through the app, and it's free whereas other feeders cost you a monthly or yearly subscription. Once you're hooked up to the app, you get a notification when it detects motion, and you can go in your phone and look at the pictures. You can also just go directly to the camera and watch what's going on through a live feed. I don't have this problem, but there's a decently loud siren you can activate, I suppose to frighten off squirrels if you don't want them eating all the seed. There are more things the app can do, but I'm not real good at these things, and haven't taken the time to thoroughly investigate all the features. This is really easy to fill, and the camera comes out easily to charge it up. The solar panel doesn't keep it fully charged (it's not designed to), but it does lengthen the time between charges. For instance, I just checked through the app and my camera is 74% charged, and we placed it outside 2 1/2 days ago, and today was cloudy. The more birds you get, the quicker the camera will need to be recharged, and we did it overnight when there aren't any birds. I had to contact customer service because I needed help setting up the notifications, and they were quick to reply, offered easy to understand instructions, as well as screen shots of pertinent information. I was very impressed with the communication. I love this feeder, and I think you will too!

I recently ordered this, and I absolutely love the Bird house with Camera! The 1080P HD video quality is amazing, and the built-in AI that is so impressive. It's solar-powered, super easy to set up, and the app alerts + two-way audio make birdwatching a whole new experience. Bonus. it comes with a 64G TF card and no subscription needed for the AI! A must-have for any nature lover.

My family and I are having tons of fun with this bird feeder. We live in a semi-rural area surrounded by woods, and the variety of birds in our area is HUGE but they move so fast, we can only get a glimpse of them from time to time, especially the unique ones that are most beautiful. We invested in a camera bird feeder after searching around on easy ways for my family and I to see what birds were in the neighborhood, and we settled on this model. This feeder has a super high quality camera attached to the main compartment. It connects to your home Wifi system, to allow you to watch your feeder in real time. There is a easy to use app on your phone to download, I had no trouble installing or using the app, and it works really great. It sends you pictures! It even has an AI feature that works pretty well, to help identify the birds. From a power perspective, the camera does have an onboard battery, and the feeder itself has a solar panel on top to help keep the battery charged. Now keep in mind, the solar panel just extends the time between charges of the main battery. I normally charge the battery inside overnight about once a week, and this is usually when I add more bird seed to the onboard seed holder, so the panel does help extend the battery life, but it is not 100% the only way to keep it charged. From a install perspective, overall this feeder is relatively complex to put together, as well as setup. Grandma is absolutely not going to be doing this. You need a relatively handy person to put it together, mount it, then a techy person to help get the camera card installed, and the Wi-Fi setup. It took about an hour all in. The instructions are pretty good, the English is fine but it would have been nice to have a few more steps to help explain things. All that being said, I am very happy with this feeder. My kids and I are enjoying the candid views of the birds on the included perch of the feeder, and it has stood up well to the elements. Take good care of this product and it feels like it will last. We are super happy!

I've had this BROAIMX bird feeder for just over a month, and I honestly feel like I'm running a live-streaming nature channel now. From blue jays squabbling over seeds to a surprisingly bold squirrel cameo (yes, it triggered the app alert too!), this camera has turned my garden into a miniature wildlife documentary. What really impressed me: The AI bird recognition is no gimmick – it identified a Carolina Wren I didn’t even know was native to my area. The solar panel actually works even with limited sunlight (I live in the Pacific Northwest). Two-way audio is surprisingly fun – I’ve used it to gently shoo away that greedy squirrel more than once. Setup was straightforward, the app is responsive, and the 64G card gives me plenty of footage to go back through.
