It easily switches to a forward-facing car seat as your child grows, accommodating up to 65 lbs. ClickTight technology provides fully open seat belt paths that are clearly labeled and easy to access, and the automatic tensioner takes care of the tightening. The baby car seat lets you easily adjust the 14-position no-rethread harness and headrest to help create the perfect fit, and the removable infant insert provides extra comfort on the go. The car seat features 17-inch SpaceSaver technology designed to fit 3-across without compromising on Britax safety and premium comfort. The car seat boasts a patented SafeCell® crumple zone and V-shaped top tether to help manage crash energy. Carbon steel frame and belt paths provide strength and stability. After struggling with other convertible car seats, this one was a breath of fresh air — the installation was incredibly simple and took just a few minutes. The seat feels sturdy and well-built, yet it’s surprisingly compact — it fits easily in our back seat without feeling bulky, and still gives our child plenty of room. Amazing car seat! The click tight feature is amazing, I had a problem with other car seats being too loose once installed in the middle seat (you know how it can only move an inch at the belt path, or else it’s not secure). After doing some research I decided to try Britax because of their click tight feature, it solved my problem right away.The click tight feature expertly secures the car seat in the car with no movement at all it’s rigid right in the car seat which is perfect and I don’t have to worry about the car seat being too loose now. Safety and comfort 10/10! I wish I knew about Britax and Clicktight sooner! A must for tricky middle seat installs or when you have a hard time getting a seat to be secure in the car this will solve that problem. Also since I’m obsessed with safety I love that you can use this in rear positioning until 50 lbs (since rear seat positioning has been shown to be the safest). ... show more

    • LOOK NO FURTHER!
I don’t normally write reviews but omg I had to do it for this. When I started researching car seats i originally went with the Graco 4ever dlx and my baby absolutely hated it! She normally is fine in her infant car seat but with that one in particular she screamed every time. So I did tons of research and finally landed on the Beitax Poplar S and it is AMAZING. Firstly, it is insanely easy to install. Second, it is great quality and extremely cushioned for comfort. My baby is so calm in it (more so than she is in her infant seat)and falls asleep almost instantly. I really appreciate having the anti rebound bar as well. You can rear face for up to 50lbs which is about 10lbs more than most other car seats. Also, it fits perfectly into my Jeep renegade. The only thing that is possibly a downside is that it is heavy from the steel frame but even if you were to switch it between cars, it’s so easy to install that it pretty much makes up for the con of the weight. I’ll forever buy this brand of car seats for all my future kids. Hope this helps! ... show more

I absolutely love this car seat. It’s so easy to manage and move from car to car the click tight design is amazing! Best feature ever for a car seat in my opinion. I bought a Nuna originally, thinking that I would love that and I do but I love the Britax more, the Nuna is in the truck and the Britax is in my car. Easy to wash and clean and put back together. I would say that the britax is much easier to put back together than the Nuna was. We’ve had both car seats installed and used for a year now. When my daughter is ready for the booster, we will be getting a Britax! It’s sturdy, functional and has multiple recline options. Well worth the investment. ... show more

We looked at a number of different seats and decided on this one for several reasons: comfortable for the child; rear-facing ride (which is the safest) up to 50 lb; super easy to install and adjust. Removable cupholders are also a plus. It's also not super heavy so it's easy enough to take with you when traveling. We ended up buying two, one for each car. ... show more

    • Definitely a nice care seat but very heavy
Overall we have enjoyed the car seat. We have had it just under a month now. We wanted a car seat that could accomplish 3 things. 1. Extended rear facing option 2. Easy to install 3. Easy to adjust straps This car seat does fulfill these options for us. It has the highest available limits for rear facing. It uses clicktight technology so you aren’t trying to pull a ton to get a tight install. It also does not require rethreading the straps to adjust the level. These are the pros for us. The biggest two cons are that the car seat is very very heavy and the fabric part is difficult to get on and off. 1. The car seat is so heavy that it exceeds the lower anchor limits around 35lbs (check the manual for exact limit). This requires you to install with the seatbelt which is not much more difficult because of the clicktight technology but the latch system is so easy. We also were hoping to have a car seat that was easier to install so that it would be easy to switch the seat over to a different vehicle. Unfortunately because it is so so heavy, it is not convenient to do so. 2. Our first convertible carseat only had two fabric pieces to take off when cleaning was required. They were also easy to put back on. This has several pieces and lots of little loops and parts that you have to carefully retuck the fabric. That’s fine but I was not expecting it. We had to wash the cover fairly soon after installing the car seat since our toddler had a bathroom accident. TLDR: We are glad to find a car seat that worked for extended rear facing and that is easy to install and use. We were surprised by how heavy it was and the time it took to put the fabric back on the seat after cleaning. ... show more
