This convertible car seat accommodates up to 50 lbs when installed rear-facing and easily switches to a forward-facing car seat as your child grows. ClickTight technology provides fully open seat belt paths that are clearly labeled and easy to access, and the automatic tensioner takes care of the tightening. This baby car seat lets you easily adjust the 14-position no-rethread harness and headrest to help create the perfect fit. The removable infant insert helps to properly position infants 22 lbs and under. There are 2 additional premium inserts that help create refined comfort and a tailored fit. The ReboundReduce™ stability bar easily attaches to the car seat when installed rear-facing, helping to minimize movement in the event of a crash. Slim outside and spacious inside, this convertible car seat features 17-inch SpaceSaver™ technology designed to fit 3-across without compromising on trusted Britax safety and premium comfort. The rear-facing car seat includes a patented SafeCell® crumple zone and a V-shaped top tether to help manage crash energy. Carbon steel frame and belt paths provide strength and stability. I absolutely love this seat and am happy to have chosen this over the Graco extend to fit. My fiance has a 2016 Jeep Renegade and the back seat is tiny (seat and leg room). It was such a long path of finding a seat for his car I would like and could trust, this does it. My daughter is about 14.5lbs and 24.5" and she fits perfectly snug and on the full recline. The install was EXTREMELY easy. Took all of 3 minutes and it fits perfectly while still allowing the average sized person to sit in the front passenger seat. I also think the fabric is great and the stitching was well done. You can install without the rebound bar, but it really doesn't add any significant bulk/space. It also has a 50lb rear-facing limit which I am SO grateful for, definitely a necessity if you have a bigger baby! ... show more

I’ve been a loyal purchaser from Graco for all of my kids seats, infant, convertible, Forward facing harnessed & High back boosters (older kids 4&6) but this time around I wanted to try something different. This seat was comparable price wise to the Graco we’d been looking at but holy smokes the quality is unmatched!! The padding feels so luxurious compared to any of the Graco seats we’ve bought. The seat itself is pretty heavy but that doesn’t make a difference for us as it will stay in my car. The ClickTight install is game changing! Seriously so easy! I love that it has optional cup holders, my son is currently 7 months old so he doesn’t need them right now but it will be helpful to have them as he gets older. He used to cry every time we put him in his infant seat but has not cried once in the car since switching him to this seat! ... show more

I love everything about this car seat. Britax car seats in general install so easily; I don’t think I will ever buy another brand simply because of how easy they are to install. Britax’s safety ratings are also stellar which is something we really look for. This car seat also is a more slim fit seat so it actually fits rear facing behind the driver-a feature we have struggled with when it comes to most rear facing car seats. This seat performs better than more expensive competitors (looking at you, Clek foonf) in terms of comfort for the baby and ease of install. Even my husband could figure it out! Also, I didn’t have to spend a bunch of extra money to make it work for an infant as the seat comes with all the pads you would need. I am able to fit three across in the back of our Subaru outback without issue. I waited specifically for the Poplar S to be released because I knew I wanted the anti-rebound bar. I searched high and low for weeks for the perfect car seat. I finally went for this one after reading countless reviews and I’m very happy with it! My one year old used to cry in her other car seat but in this one she sleeps! The ease of installation is fantastic and I love that instead of having to adjust the straps as the baby grows, all you have to do is pull up and the seat itself heightens which is a fantastic feature. It’s comfortable, easy to clean, easy to recline, I really love it, very well made and I’m pleasantly surprised. I drive a Honda CRV and this fits great. Super easy to install. Nice and narrow. Compact front to back. Does not play nice in forward facing mode with fixed headrests. Also the sides are kind of high and that made loading my kiddo in a bit tough.

I will preface this with, I am so picky when it comes to car seats. I buy them and return them if there is any small feature I do not like. I did have to find a car seat that was narrow enough for three across in my car. I have tried so many different ones and this is by far my favorite! I wish I could switch my other two to this car seat now. The click tight install is so easy and quick and gets a secure install every time! So it’s easy to switch between vehicles quickly. It’s comfortable and we have so far loved every aspect of it. The only thing that doesn’t really work for our three across set up with this car seat is the cup holders. Maybe they could be on if we had all three poplars installed but with what we currently have the cup holder can’t be on while rear facing and others are forward facing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After doing tons of research on what was the best fit and safe for my son I can say I seen a lot of people swore about britax brand frequently ! And it was just a coincidence that they barely came out with this one and the colors are amazingly beautiful!! So far we love it my son hasn’t sat in it yet but once he does I’ll definitely report back to this review 👏 We absolutely love the safety features and the clicktight technology which makes things more smooth for us! 👏 Update : WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT baby fits comfortably in it , he enjoys it!!!
