This car seat is fabulous. It adds so many features the others Britax seats lack (3 across, cup holders). The Clicktight feature is the reason we bought it because ease of install is critical for safety. We returned our other slim seat as it didn’t stay tight and needed constant adjustments which is a safety issue especially in the car we let our nanny use. My only “ask” is thry come out with an anti-rebound bar asap. The one from the old Clicktight seats isn’t compatible (I called to ask). Finally!!! Husband purchased a Ford Maverick (which we love) then discovered that rear facing car seats are nearly impossible in it, especially with 2 kids. This seat fits perfectly behind the driver (6’1), passenger (5’9) or in the center. Love the removable cup holders, easy clicktight installation, and safety features. This car seat comes with a very detailed User Manual. Make sure you keep it for reference. The installation instructions are also written on the car seat itself - in English on one side and Spanish on the other. Unfortunately (for me) if you're installing it in the forward-facing position, you can only read the English instructions if you're putting it on the driver’s side of the car. The car seat can be installed using anchors on the bottom that connect to the seat or through a belt slot and top anchor. When using the belt slot, it has a click mechanism that latches down on the seatbelt and holds it firmly in place. There is no slipping once this is in place. The lower anchors cannot be used If the child weighs less than 35 lb. The car seat can be used in both cars and on airplanes. It's a quite hefty seat. It comes with all sorts of padding and inserts that can be used with various ages and sizes of children. The top extends up to provide head and neck support for a taller child. The mechanism to recline the car seat is easy to access and move with one hand. Make sure that you read the instructions on how to properly install it, especially if it's been a while since you have installed a car seat in your car. The instructions in the manual are much clearer than those printed on the seat itself. The instructions printed on the seat are a good refresher but are not detailed enough if you have never installed this seat before. I had to completely remove the headrest in my car for this car seat to properly fit. Depending on how your car is designed and how the headrest is oriented will determine whether or not you can leave the headrest installed. The seat comes with two cup holders that can be installed on either side of the car seat. They are labeled as left and right and will not fit properly if you try to install them on the wrong side. There are caps on the car seat itself that will need to be removed in order to install the cup holders. Once the cup holders are installed, they latch into place and would have to be released from the bottom. They are not just friction fit and won't come out accidentally if you bump them. This car seat is listed as a slim seat so that you can put three car seats across in the back. I have a rear-facing bucket car seat and a booster seat that I have to put in my backseat along with this car seat. It was a tight fit, but it worked and allows me to carry 3 grandchildren at once. ... show more

Great car seat. We got this because our old ones cushion was a little worn out. Our daughter is 4 and has used it since birth refacing and recently going to forward facing. Compared to our old car seats the only thing I didn’t love about this one is it doesn’t have the easy click latch system the evenFlo platinum symphony elite all in one has. Its a latch on each side that connects to the metal pieces on my vehicle seats and we could push on the car seat until it was anchored down and in movable. This care seat does have the lift able seat are to make putting the straps through easier but has the traditional tightening harness system and no easy click latching. However this Britax car seat is much slimmer and a better fit for our family. My clan is currently not working and we are always using my husbands truck which is a very tight fit. The cup holders are more sturdy on this car seat and Its easier to adjust the height of this car seat and the straps adjust with the headrest instead of creating an weird fit. For those using this for rear facing they make it very easy to recline and on the side they have a level system that insures you have the seat in the correct position for the way you are using the seat. ... show more

This britax convertible car seat is definitely a great car seat. The slim fit design and the click tight is what i like the most . Aside from the durable construction. The slim fit really is a huge help for tight spaces cars. And also as a mom, the click tight is great for doing it automatic tensioning. No hassle. The quality is great . We replaced my daughter's old graco brand. And this is definitely a great replacement for that. Works great for my little girl. And less hassle and easy clean up for me. We love this Britax car seat. The installation is so easy with the ClickTight system. It gets a perfectly secure install without the stress. It is pretty narrow without sacrificing too much wiggle room for the baby. We haven't tried cleaning it more than just a wipe down, but it is easy to release "stuff."
