    • Horrible customer service and warranty

Worked great until it didn't. Customer service is awful. I used the generator and stored it for less than two weeks. When I took it back out, the machine stared but the 120v outlet wouldn't work. When I called customer service, I had to hold for 30 minutes, then the guy on the line said it had to be taken to a service center and they would provide that information after they found my warranty registration. It took 3 days for them to get back and tell me there was no service center close to me and I would have to pay out of pocket for diagnostic and they would reimburse me. I am an electrician with small engine repair experience. I diagnosed a faulty inverter board. When asked they they could send me that part, it took 3 days and an additional email for them to once again say they had to "get with their team and let me know" if that was an option. Then another 2 days for me to email them again just for them to tell me they don't have that part but are looking. Finally today I asked if they would just swap the units for me and, once again, they have to "Get with their team" There is apparently no parts, no decision makers, and no accountability in the customer service department and since the machine doesn't appear to have held up to the small amount of occasional use over the last 8 months, avoid this machine at all costs. Customer service will leave you high and dry and keep kicking the can down the road. ... show more

WOW, super quiet vs the generator with the same capacity we purchased a decade ago! Portable, quiet-ish as described; multiple power supply ports. BUT to the ladies, if you've experienced the 'challenges' I have in using a 'pull cord' to get a generator or other equipment started, let me tell you, this is a game changer. While the initial startup of this generator does take a few pulls on the cord (to prime it I'm guessing), on the third or fourth pull it gets running. With my older generator, pulling the 'pull cord' (as a left-handed person, maybe??) was such that I was *never* able to get it started myself. This one is much more 'user-friendly,' and I'm able to start on my own. ... show more

    • A generator[pure sine wave] that you can run and still talk to the person next to you.
It looks like a Honda knock off but I use it to power my RV for mostly the A/C. I use solar for most of it but need the extra power to get some cool air. After using it , say, a dozen times I've found the unit to be dependable on starting as well as quiet . I fulltime RV and have heard the echo of generators through the woods but this is not one of them. Easy on fuel and is compatible with charging Lithium Ion batteries. This has been a great purchase! We already have a larger generator that will run everything that we need. But we didn't want to run that generator at night and waste all that gas. We put an AC in our bedroom window and last night we tested this little generator. We cut off the power to the house and turned on only the breaker for our bedroom, the bathroom and the fridge. We started the generator around 12:30am. We shut the door to our bedroom. That little generator worked perfectly!!! At 10am this morning, which is 9 hours after starting it, it was still running! We had it set on eco mode. Absolutely no problems!! We filled it back up and then worked on figuring out what else it could run. It did not like my one cup coffee maker, nor the microwave. I was able to bring up everything in my office. (I work from home.) We are actually going to buy a second one and use a parallel cable to connect them together for a bit more power. Runs good, easy to start, I wish it had an hour meter, I like that it doesn't have the CO protect feature. My DB meter shows about 59db with eco mode on and 64db with eco mode off (23ft away with no load) so it is very quiet. Engine is a knockoff of the Yamaha MZ80 so I expect decent reliability.
