    • A monster of a car seat but very solid

We bought this car seat for my first son (born March 2022) and all of the hospital staff were very impressed by how well constructed it is (he had to pass the car seat test after NICU admittance day 2 for jaundice). Purchased it again for our second son due December (couldn't pass up the July sale). It fit well in my small SUV (Subaru Crosstrek) and fits about the same in our mid-size SUV (Subaru Ascent) using a foam squat pad cut in half against the back of the seat since the seats angle down (necessary to achieve proper angle for squishy newborn, not necessary for toddler or once baby has trunk control). It's not "easy" to remove and re-install but it's also fairly straightforward once you do it the first time to manage the ClickTight. It is a large and heavy seat. We used a buckle carrier from birth since this is clearly not the kind of car seat you take out and click into a stroller but that was by choice - I didn't want him in the car seat any more than necessary as a squishy newborn due to possible positional asphyxiation. First son is still rear-facing, still maximally reclined (long torso and shorter legs haha), falls asleep in it on the regular, has slept in it for 2 hours on a recent road trip which speaks to its being pretty comfortable. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. All in one seat, love that when the seat is installed in car that it's not shifting/moving its locked in place many refacing seats seem to still wiggle which is terrible. Comfy my almost one year old sits great in it no issues seems to be a awesome carseat... down side it is kinda of heavy if needing to swap from one vehicle to next..not hard to installed though. Would buy again if I ever needed to*ended up buying a 2nd one to keep in 2nd vehicle * ... show more

I was recently in a wreck and had to buy a new car seat. This is the best car seat you could buy, we have two other brand car seats that are very hard to get tightened. This click tight system is the way to go. Seems very comfortable for my toddler and is very easy for me to move from one car to the next. Already had to take the cover off to wash it and it was easy to get off and back on. Best car seat would recommend to anyone! This is our third britax car seat we have owned. They continually get better and better. These are top rated for safety. This model is so comfortable. I love that my baby can be in this very seat until she is done with a car seat all together. It is super easy to install. Click tight is the best. The padding comes off and is machine washable. Heavy, but simple to install after looking through the included manual and determining which setting you need for your kiddo. Adjusts efficiently. Fits nicely in the rear seat of our Subaru Crosstrek in the reverse position. A much better fit than the Britax infant seat we had -- front passenger still can't recline as much, but it does slide back a little more so it's not claustrophobic feeling on the legs. Baby seems happy in it. Cupholders are great for stuffing little soft toys in and are removable for washing. ... show more

This is the third Britax car seat and the second Britax One4Life I have purchased. The first of this seat and the infant carrier both had the quick release clamps for the LATCH system(so easy!). This one on the other hand did not, it had generic metal clips that are such a pain to install and especially uninstall! Disappointed that it didn’t have the quick release latches. Otherwise the seat is very sturdy, well padded, and the fabric is very easy to wipe clean. ... show more
