New love this car seat and bought it because our little one would be born at the beginning of the summer and we were concerned about her being warm while really little. This is our first little one (and therefore our first car seat purchase) but we did a ton of research and testing of the floor models in stores and decided this was the best one for us. Overall the car seat is extremely easy to use but here are a list of some pros and cons we have found. PROS: - The strap adjustment is SUPER simple which means if you want to test to see if it is too tight and you need to go the next size up, the button and slide option is far easier than rethreading the straps to test and then have to undo it like other car seats. - The material seems to wipe clean easily and is dark so it doesn’t show mess easily. - Extremely good safety rating - Very easy to click into base - Base is very easy to install - Great canopy size (one of the biggest we found) the canopy also is very sturdy (I have mistaken it for the handle when picking up an empty seat and it does fine supporting the weight of the seat) the fabric is also thick and feels like it will take a lot of abuse easily. Also, the back has a mesh opening that is great in the car to get a little breeze of ac from the front of the vehicle. CONS: - The material is dark so it gets hot easily - The “cool” feature of the fabric is little holes cut out of the teal fabric, when baby has no pants on or her shirt gets pulled up in the back (when she is sitting against it with no clothing inbetween her and the seat) this leads to the car seat material leaving little red polka dot impressions all over her. This has lead to us having to make sure we put her in certain outfits when going in the car seat and which often means no separate shirt from bottom (so the shirt can’t ride up in the back). This was the biggest con for us and a little disappointing because we chose the seat for the “cooling” features and I often feel like I have to dress her in warmer clothes to compensate for the material (pants over a onsie) and why I marked down “comfort”. - Definitely not the lightest on the market (But that was expected since we went for safety) - Definitely not the smallest on the market (not an issue in most full-size cars/suvs but check this immediately when you purchase any car seat because it may be a deal breaker for some vehicles). - I would have liked a one hand adjustable handle but this wasn’t a deal breaker In conclusion I would purchase a Britax again in a heartbeat, however I would not get this material, I would go for one without the dotted fabric.

This is a great car seat. It’s safe, easy to use, and comes apart to clean easily. The one thing I would caution about is that it’s kind of narrow. My daughter is 6 months old and at the 50the percentile and I’m not sure we’re gonna make it to a year.

Purchased this as a second base for my husbands truck, so it’s only been used maybe three times and is currently not installed in the truck. But it works well, we anchor it to the seat and use a seatbelt to strap it down. If you have another base you will easily be able to install this one. But like almost anything it can be a pain. But nothing that can’t be figured out. I’ve used it with a Britax BSafe Ultra Infant car seat and it works fine and is exactly like the base that the car seat came with. I think it’s worth it if you even have the possibility of using two vehicles/grandparents/babysitter cars.

So we are the unlucky few that actually experienced a car accident with a newborn (3.5 weeks to be exact). We were rear ended at a pretty high speed (40-45mph) and my son was sleeping in his car seat in the back at the time. My baby was fine, thank God. He woke up startled by the sound but went back to sleep :) Then woke up crying again. I’m writing this review solely based on the fact that this car seat kept my son fully protected. And now anyone looking to protect their baby will know that this car seat does its job well. Also, the car seat is heavy (or so I’ve been told—first baby, first car seat, so I don’t have anything else to compare it to) but it protected my baby so that’s really all I care about. I attribute that to the sturdiness in the car seat.

Wonderful car seat! When my son was first born for about 6 weeks he would only fall asleep in this car seat, we have had every expensive swing/glider known to man he would cry until I picked him up, for some reason he only wanted to sleep in this car seat 🤦🏼♀️ Anyways this thing is awesome the straps are a breeze to adjust, it is a little on the heavy side but that’s because it has a steel frame which is why I buy Britax Car seats, and the base is a BREEZE to install. I Did forgo buying the britax stroller though and went with the Joovy Quool stroller, car seat clicks in and out makes it so easy to take my baby anywhere without disturbing him because he usually falls asleep in the car.

Had no issues with it being small or narrow. We are at 14 months still using it. It’s adorable. I wanted something not completely black as we live in a hot area. It starts off heavy and add baby it’s quite heavy. But not much different from most car seats. My only complaint is as baby grows and you move the straps up the padding separates and we are at a point were there is no padding and baby’s back is against the plastic. We will be replacing it soon as she is ready for a convertible seat now anyway. But overall I certainly didn’t want to pay $300-400 dollars for a seat we would only use for a year. I’m satisfied!

The car seat works great. Haven't had any issues. Very easy to put in and take out of the car with the base. Husband was actually quite surprised at how easy it is. Even installing the base into another vehicle isn't that difficult. The only thing that that I have a hard time with is how heavy it is. I had a c-section and couldn't carry the car seat with my son in it for quite some time. I am petite so that may be why I have an issue with it, however my husband (who isn't small) did mention it was quite heavy for a car seat. Another note is I did order the car seat in Raven but received a completely different color car seat. Not a huge deal but I would have preferred to received the one I specifically ordered.
