The fact that this listing has a 3-star rating is a shame. It’s the only version of this car seat without flame retardant chemicals, in the safest seat of this type. There aren’t a ton of options in the “harness booster seat” category and after hours of research I think this and maybe the Diono one looked best and safest. Check out the hundreds of positive reviews on another listing on amazon, then c’mon back here and order this one- it comes from Albee Baby directly so you know you aren’t getting something mislabeled. As far as the actual seat, it’s a tank. Not good for travel but great for safety. Rather than buying a new set of convertible seats, when our baby aged out of his infant seat, we got this seat for our y’all 4 year old- I was happy having him rear facing in the Clek Fllo until we got this seat. Our kid has a freakishly long torso making this the only seat option that he won’t outgrow in a year. After using this seat he will get an inexpensive backless booster- they cost $20 or less so it wasn’t a big deal to me that this didn’t become backless because I didn’t want to compromise the integrity of the seat with flimsy conversion potential. If you care about keeping your kids from flame retardants, want the ease of install of the click-tight and want the safest thing- this is your seat. We bought a lightweight Evenflo maestro for travel. PS our kid LOVES his “big boy” car seat and buckled himself! The second part of our life has begun! ... show more

We’ve owned this car seat and used it in our daily driver for over a year. This car seat is sturdy and spacious for our 6 year old. I also like it because our little guy is tall and the high back works for kids up to 63” tall. This isn’t small by any means, but if you’re looking for a booster to wrap around your kid and provide a sturdy platform in an accident, this is it. The transition between harness and traditional high back booster with seat belt is easy if you use the instructions but isn’t totally intuitive without them. Best safety features available in car seats. And easiest, most secure to install. This is my 5th Britax Click Tight car seat. I have followed both my grand kids with Britax as they have grown from birth to 7 years old, so far. This one goes to 10 years old. (She'll be 17 when it expires. lol ) Seems expensive but for safety features, extended expiration years and CONVENIENT INSTALLATION, it's well worth it! ... show more
