Keeps baby warm without having to wear too many layers Blocks light rain and snow Keeps away strangers' grabby hands in the grocery store Cons: Can't use sun shade while this is attached When my baby was born a few weeks early in the dead of winter, I wanted to make sure I could bring him home from the hospital and to doctor's appointments warm and safely. I knew from reading about my car seat that having babies in fluffy clothing while strapped into the car seat compromises their safety because you can't get the straps tight enough. Thank goodness for this cover! It comes off and on really easily, and it's also very simple to open and close. It's SO SOFT, and it's also a good way to keep your little one from grabby hands in the grocery store. I have even carried my baby around in the rain using only this cover and he didn't get wet at all. I was also surprised that the fabric seemed entirely waterproof - it didn't soak but instead pooled and was able to be brushed off.

Living in AK this is a must to keep baby warm! I like that it easy to cover all the way to keep the cold air off my baby while going to the car. You don’t have to worry about loose blankets getting on your baby’s face while driving. Overall, it fits great, but it does take slightly more effort to move the car seat carrying handle. Second one I have owned, and would give as a gift.

This cover is quite easy to use, works well and warm. The only thing keeping it from being 5* is the second flap doesn’t have a snap or magnet to secure it, in wind it flops around. Yet I would still recommend this cover.

Bought this for my nephew the beginning of November & my sister-in-law & brother can't tell me enough how much they love it. Said it was super easy to install, keeps him nice & warm & protected from the elements & cold, love the zipper sides and face cover section. I will definitely buy again for someone else that has a baby.

I love this and get a lot of compliments on the color. It fit well with a Chicco Key Fit seat. I like that it protects baby's face from the cold wind while also being ventilated. (The top right flap doesn't zip or snap and this is a good thing imo) When it's really cold we layer a warm blanket between baby and the cover. My one and only gripe is that we have to be careful when unsnapping the top left flap because there is no reinforcement to protect the fabric from ripping when being tugged on but since we are mindful this hasn't happened. Overall this was a great purchase and it's getting saved to use with #2.

It takes a little bit to get used to, but I love how you can leave it on. A bit of a pain if you don’t have a base in your car and have to work the seat belt through. I love in CO, it can get pretty cold, my baby has never gotten cold. Not that we are out, mostly transferring from house to car, sometimes we do go on occasional walks.

Works good, and fits seat well (Britax B-Safe gen2). However it is not very wind-proof. One gust and the flap flips open especially in frigid temps. I still have to wrap the seat in a blanket. Would be nice if the flap that doesn't button had a little velcro on it. Besides that, great product.

If you have a child in the winter I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this cover! We live in Northern Indiana and I used this on our baby from late fall through april. It's easy to zip and unzip and does not get in the way! It fits perfectly on the car seat! The left flap buttons on and the right flap easily flips up and down. It's great for windy days or to shade from the sun when you're walking from the car to the store. A must have for a baby in the winter!
