Metal cage in a box. Normally you wouldn't think it could protect you at all. But you can simply return it if it doesn't work. However, you'll keep it because it does. Go out to your car, use the button unlock if it has it, push start to turn it on. Then turn it off. Throw your keys into the box. Click it shut. And try to do the same thing again. Just try. Are you trying? It doesn't appear to be because nothing is happening. Which is exactly what you want.

It is on the small side but it fits three (wrist-sized) key rings, each outfitted with a fob and three other keys. I always have to struggle a bit to fit them, moving the various keys around to get them to fit but they do. Every time I come in the house the first thing I do is put my keys in here. That way, I know not only where they always are but that they are secure. The box sits on an outside corner of my kitchen, a small place that holds it and a couple of charging items; I call it my control center. So I find it helpful in those two ways and can recommend it.

It works I took the entire box to my vehicle and tried to open the doors (my vehicle unlocks when I’m within inches of the handle) and the car did not unlock. 22 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. And the price of the box isn’t high at all

If you own high end Dodge of any trim level, this box is a must!!! It'll prevent thieves from making a copy of your key from OUTSIDE of your home because this box blocks the keys' signals from being emitted. Can't express how important this box is to anyone who owns a vehicle thieves target that has a key fob whose functions control every aspect of your vehicle. Nice looking sleek box! I was concerned since the only other options I've found were over $100 and ugly. I had the box with my keys on the truck if the vehicle and could not gain any signal. Once the lid was opened, everything worked. Great inexpensive safety option!

Purchased this prior to going on vacation for peace of mind. Tested to verify it works which it did. Our vehicles would not unlock until I opened the box. Big enough for our 4 key fobs but small enough to fit in a drawer.

I put my keys in the box and went up to my car to see if it was automatically open and it did not. The only other comment I have is that the clasp on the box is a little tight but other than that it works fine.
