I freely admit to being a no talent when it comes to using hair tools. So read reviews where people know what they are talking about. This did heat up very fast. My daughter used it, and she has long wavy hair. She said that if you have thinner hair this might be a good but, but if you have thick hair, she said it would take a long time to do your hair. She said she was staying with her CHI.

I'm loving this new hair straightener. It is the perfect size for my shorter hair. It heats up quickly and love that the cord has a swivel so no tangling. It straightens my hair and leaves it super smooth. I use the lower heat settings to prevent damage to my hair and it works perfectly. I am super pleased with this item and would highly recommend. I have long hair and have used many straighteners and hair tools, and needed to get another straightener to keep in a guest bathroom for out-of-town-family so I chose this one. It works well (heats up quickly, 450 degree max temp for thicker hair) and has a cord wrap and a few accessories. It advertises that it vibrates, and I was curious about that, but didn’t notice anything in particular different than my normal straightener. My hair did slide through nicely (the plates are well coated, and probably have the benefit of not having any hair product buildup on them) and I am pleased.

This works as it should, gets hair straightened. Works better with heat and frizz protection on hair. It does get hot really fast, so easy to burn yourself if not paying attention. Would have given 5 stars if it came with a dust bag.

I am reviewing this 1" Pink Brightup Hair Straightener. I like the Ceramic Flat Iron because it helps keep my hair soft. I really like the 40 Second Rapid Heat Up so I can start styling my hair quickly. This device has a Vibrating Plate to help reduce static. I like that this Hair Straightener has 10 Temperature Control options. I have hair that is difficult to straighten so I tend to use the higher heat settings. This set comes with a glove so I can protect my hand from burns. This is a really nice set to straighten my hair.

This is a great color and feels very well made. The shape is also perfect, being slightly curved. It gets very hot, very fast (within 5-10 seconds). The vibrating function works by pressing the power button while it's on (causing the F to flash) and then closing the plates together. I'm not sure if it really serves any purpose or makes a difference, but the function works fine. Overall, this is a very nice straightener and I'd recommend it for sure.
