This is a legit review…I didn’t get these for free nor am I getting compensated for reviewing them. These lights are awesome for the price and features. Put one in my 1/2 bathroom, another in the laundry room, and one in the entrance way. Got one left that I’ll probably put in the hallway. They’re super easy to install. If you’re not comfortable doing it yourself, definitely hire someone. For reference, it took me between 5-10 minutes each to remove the old lights and install these. There are 5 different settings to choose from. They range from bright white (reminds me of a hospital) to a soft white. Just wire them, slide the switch to the setting you want, then attach it to the bracket by twisting it. I liked them so much that I got some for my parents mobile home. It made a huge difference. It was like going from candlelight to sunlight. Haven’t tried using them on a dimmer in either house so I can’t comment on that. I also installed them less than a month ago so I can’t comment on their longevity. ... show more

When set to white, these are extremely bright. Like staring into the sun bright. Pros: Different settings if you want white or yellow. Install ring system is pretty easy to use Price Low profile - blends into white ceiling well Reluctant to call them cons - it would be nicer to have a lower intensity white setting. You will need to strip some of the outer covering (the part holding the 3 wires together, not insulation on each individual wire) to install these. There was about one inch from the factory which isn't near enough to connect it to your home wiring. Overall happy with the purchase and the price compared to local home repair stores. ... show more

I used these to replace 4 open bulbs in my finished garage. Very bright and convenient with the color temp switch. I accidently installed one with the 2700K instead of the 6500K and was surprised to see how yellow our lights use to be. Currently, I have all lights on the property at 5000K or 6500K. The few remaining to be converted look old and dingy. The 2 piece light allows the mount to be attached to the junction box, in my case round ceiling boxes. Just connect the 3 wires (black, white, ground) and twist lock the light in place. Don't forget to set the color temperature as they are preset to 2500K. They are very bright, on the verge of being too bright in an 8 foot ceiling garage. If you find them too bright, they are dimmable. I initially planned on installing a dimmer, but after a couple of days getting use to the light level, they don't seem too bright.. Strongly recommend these lights. ... show more
