This floor lamp adds a really nice quality detail to the room! Super fast delivery, packaging was great and assembly went speedy and easily (and I don't read directions...). The height of it is nice, mine sits behind a sofa and provides the perfect amount for reading. The bulbs that came with it were actually too bright, so I changed them out for a lower wattage. You can adjust to have 1, 2 or 3 of the lights on at a time. The shades are a nice linen type quality. I like how they hang from the pendant. And you can't beat the price! What a deal!

This is a really distinct, unique looking lamp that puts out an amazing amount of light. It really draws the eye. The first guest I had over after assembly mentioned it immediately upon entering the room. I really can't overstate how much it pulls a room together. It's also super sturdy. The base is quite heavy so there's no risk of tipping or leaning.. I have some minor critiques/advice, but nothing bad: 1) It's a little unwieldy to assemble with just one person. 2) The tiny, tiny screws used to tighten the top three arms are a real chore to manipulate. That said, I tried and tried to screw them in only to discover that my lamp already had three in the actual lamp in addition to the three in the packaging. Just a tip: don't unscrew them all the way to make positioning adjustments...they're a real bugger to get back in. 3) Adjusting the arms is a bit tricky. Each arm has two adjustable areas. One at the base where the three arms converge and one mid-way up each arm. Be sure to fully position everything, stage it, take a look at the final arm configuration and then secure all the joints. I was concerned the lamp would be too insecure without tightening everything down, but it's sturdy enough to not need securing until everything is in the position you prefer. 4) The provided light bulbs were super bright. Not a bad thing, but I had to replace them with a lower lumen to suit my needs.

Got this today and here are my impressions... - Got it in black...looks great with my gray couch - No issues assembling. - used 60 watt bulbs and it produces a lot of light (got a dimmer switch to tone it down when I want a different feel). It does come with bulbs but I had dimmable 60 watt so I used them. - the marble base doesn't look marble. I thought it was scratched up but that's the "marble" look. It looks more scratched up to me (even though it isn't) but it sits behind my couch so it doesn't really matter. - hard to get the plastic off each individual part for assembly. - I thought the cord hanging down from each of the three poles was wrong (tried to pull it in). Realized it's supposed to be like that. Was worried it would sway with fan on but no issues. The reality is, despite the few "negatives" I've given it, it's a great lamp and worthy of 5 stars. Looks great in my family room.
